Exactly.

He got Nancy Pelosi to defend MS-13 on the floor of the US House of Representatives. Now, with this latest troll, all the candidates have to decry him while defending their three worst actors in Tlaib, Omar and Ocasio-Cortez, who in the last month were all being bashed to one degree or another by Pelosi and the party leadership.

And oh no, his big penalty is being called the same thing he's been called every day since like 2015? Whatever.

Rarely do I sing the praises of fellow posters in such an open manner, but I wish more posters would post less and read your posts more. Pay attention folks, this guy/gal GETS it.

Sorry for my slobbering. Back to the diamond mine!

They’ve been calling him racist since day one. What is this new push? “No seriously now, totally, for real this time. Trump is raaacist!”

Trump labeled himself a racist and xenophobe on day #1, you are absolutely correct. His new push is to rely on an even more overt and blunt racism strategy than in 2016. He went a bit too far yesterday and is being condemned around the globe, even if in The United States of America, only Democrats are speaking out against his ugly, hateful and divisive tactics.

Shameful behavior by a president, even by Trump standards.

What do you call it when he tweets that American women of color go back to their countries? Really, dude? They're American! What an idiot we have in the WH.

He just said to the press today at noon (when asked about his racist tweets this weekend)... that if anyone is displeased w/ our country, leave.

Wasn't he displeased over the last decade as evidenced by years to tweets against our gov't? Did he leave?

These Congresswomen don't need to leave. They belong here, they've been elected by their constituents and represent them.

Just reinforces what an idiot Trump is.

In this case, he forces all the virtue signaling to defend the worst actors on the left. And calling him racist is moot at this point, since he has been called that every day of presidency and maybe a year back before that. It has no zing anymore, based purely on overuse and saturation. So his image/reputation remains unchanged, while all of the candidates, party leaders, etc now have to defend Ilhan Omar's anti-Semitism, anti-Christian and anti-American nonsense.

Trump has an almost unblemished record in taking what today looks like "the comment that is sure to sink him for good" and tomorrow having it turn int some manner of victory.

Disclaimer - not a Trump fan, not voting for him or anyone else as voting is an act of violence, and I don't honestly care what he tweets about whom. Just calling it like I see it through a purely impartial, nonpartisan lens.
How infantile that a president of the U.S. trolls anybody. What's worse is the approval of what he is doing from so many. This is how far we have sunken. Can you imagine the outrage if Obama, Bush, Clinton, et al had trolled somebody?

A more appropriate term for his comments is xenophobia ... not racism.

No, not exactly. People are calling him out for the misogynistic racist he is. And will continue to do so.
