Leftists gonna be leftists. They fell into Trump's trap.

What may I ask, makes you think this topic is closed? Mr.Trump's xenophobic, un-American and racist tweets of yesterday, in which he attacked female citizens who are duly elected sitting congress members is, as it should be, a very large and important topic.

When the President of the United States of America goes after elected representatives who are of a differing political party and color, than himself, by employing ugly, divisive and hateful rhetoric intentionally meant to divide our nation, it is far from closed. Just because we have come to expect disgusting tone and content from Trump does not mean it should or will be ignored. These tweets and "trap' as you call them are not acceptable and not to be celebrated as you imply, IMO.

Here is a tweet from Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, yesterday:
When @realDonaldTrump tells four American Congresswomen to go back to their countries, he reaffirms his plan to “Make America Great Again” has always been about making America white again. Our diversity is our strength and our unity is our power.

Rather than fall into a trap that you think was set by our president, for fellow Americans, which by itself is a very disturbing portrait you paint and champion, I do believe Mr. Trump has made Democrats stronger and more united than previously! I agree with Democrats: America's diversity is our strength and unity is our power. Very patriotic, I wish our president knew civics and history and felt passion for our country's core principles instead of trampling them in an effort to create fear and disharmony.

Wait a minute....so Trump attacking these women "divides our nation," but them attacking Trump does not? Why is that? So it's only okay for people to attack politicians who you don't like, is that how it works?

And what difference does it make if they're a different color than he is? Are they not supposed to be criticized due to that fact?

I've always made an effort to understand where people are coming from and/or "what makes people tick," and considering the sources of opinion and news that people tend to reference is one way to gain that insight.

About your source Zero Hedge, for example, I had a look around the website first, and I found their mission statement interesting. Then to find out more about them, I read this information very interesting and worthy of consideration. Explains a lot in any case...

"Zero Hedge is also seen as a source of "cutting-edge news, rumors and gossip about the financial industry".Zero Hedge expanded into non-financial analysis, where its editorial has been labelled by The New Yorker as being associated with the alt-right, as well as being anti-establishment, conspiratorial, and showing a pro-Russian-bias. Zero Hedge in-house content is posted under the pseudonym "Tyler Durden"; however, the founder and main editor was identified as Daniel Ivandjiiski.

The 29 April 2017 unmasking article by Bloomberg, quoted former website staffer Colin Lokey as saying: "I can't be a 24-hour cheerleader for Hezbollah, Moscow, Tehran, Beijing, and Trump anymore. It's wrong. Period. I know it gets you views now, but it will kill your brand over the long run. This isn't a revolution. It's a joke." Lokey told Bloomberg that he was pressured to frame issues in a way he felt was "disingenuous," summarizing its political stances as "Russia=good. Obama=idiot.

Not that I'm against considering any facts, reason, logic or opinion from any source, but considering the source is part of gaining the sort of insight I always look for. Becoming victim of confirmation bias is perhaps the biggest and most serious "trap" of all and for all concerned!

Not sure you made mention of this in my poll (and I think I understand why)...

What News Source Do C-D People Follow?

i've never understood why anyone would put so much energy and effort into smearing a source without even looking to see if the same information is available on a news source that wouldn't inspire so much belly-aching.

Top Democrats are circulating a poll showing that one of the House's most progressive members — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — has become a definitional face for the party with a crucial group of swing voters.

Why it matters: These Democrats are sounding the alarm that swing voters know and dislike socialism, warning it could cost them the House and the presidency. The poll is making the rounds of some of the most influential Democrats in America.

Disturbing what Trump is doing and how some are buying this.

So if the Four Stooges aka The Squad, were white and Trump told them to go back to their home districts and clean them up would he be a racist?

Simple logical fallacy.

You didn't address the message, so you go on a very long winded post, where you mostly pat yourself on your back concerning your cleverness, in an attempt to discredit zero hedge instead of addressing what they said. Their topics are always well documented. Doesn't matter to me if you believe them or not. I presume that anyone who fell into Trump's trap, isn't going to. Self deception by definition, can't be perceived.

The crazed loons are driving all the swing voters and moderate Democrats into the hands of the Republican party & Trump. It's amazing to watch them self destruct over nothing.

Nice try, but no cigar. He did not say home districts. He stated "countries whose governments". Yesterday the argument was he never named names. So today we have disparaging insults to agree that he did mean specific 4 congresswomen? Spinning must be making some very dizzy!

Apologists have no leg to stand on. Trump was very clear with his rhetoric and intent.

Who did he mention by name since you are playing Mr. Literal?
