Good Lord..these 2 need to stay away from ropes and any places that have ropes.
First world problems in the US...everything is seen through the eyes of implied racism.

.. and anybody who don't agree with them are racists too.
Whoever made it and hung it there is an idiot. That said, the reaction to it is ridiculous if people need to put it on FB and contact the media. GMAFB. Grow up and go about your business. No one tried to hang you in the Home Depot.
there are about 10 knots that look like that for fishing and boating. I'm not going to stop using a Uni-knot because some flowers wilted in broad daylight at home dump.
A noose creeps me out as I know people use them things to hang themselves too. It is creepy to me . I don't get a good feeling when I see a noose. They used to hang people at public lynchings.. of all colors.
Having casually known 3 people who killed themselves by hanging, nooses creep me out too. It is the second most common method of suicide in the US.
No way to know who created the noose or why.
Nothing inappropriate about bringing the noose to the attention of store management.
Think the store manager intended to cut the rope. Seems the women perceived his intention differently.
Here's the text from one of the sister's follow up facebook posts .... sounds like they are totally blaming Home Depot. Wouldn't be surprised to hear of a lawsuit sooner rather than later.

The nails next to this piece of ignorance is what I went to purchase...as you can see this is how close I was to this hanging piece of crap! My sister, daughter and brother were at the end of this aisle (#10) looking at a screen door that we were going to purchase as a surprise for Mom's birthday on tomorrow. Ohhh... we're still going to get the door, best believe NOT FROM HOME DEPOT! You can't tell me that no one else did not see this neatly tied, infact expertly tied NOOSE hanging in aisle 10 @ Home Depot on Miller Road in Wilmington Delaware. Sorry I'm not sorry...ignorance is taught, you just fell on the smart folks who know better! Know better enough that you (HOME DEPOT)should know WE know better! After all this is OUR neighborhood!
Also, if these are the 'smart folks' I'd love to see who's considered stupid in Delaware.
really? immobilized by fear at the mere sight of a piece of rope?
what delicate flowers, sure to be looking up an ambulance-chasing lawyer as we speak so they can be reimbursed for their pain and suffering.
I wonder how long it took them to tie the noose-and if surveillance camera has video?
