I seriously thought it would be around 110% of Americans disapproval of these women.

So you're saying is she's just like all the other congress members; unpopular outside her district? Well ruh-roh.

As for the White House resident's tweets: as my New York-born co-workers say, he's always been known for saying stupid things. This is nothing new; don't expect it to improve.

He can do the right thing and get called a racist, a chauvinist, get criticized you name it. He's literally damned if he does, damned if he don't.

Doesn't make it okay for him to say this sort of stuff about members of Congress.

Being critical of their platforms and policy views is TOTALLY appropriate.

Telling them to "go back to where they came from" is completely inappropriate chatter from a POTUS.

Sounds like something a racist during the Jim Crow era would scream at black people, and you know it.
Problem is that they are all slinging mud at each other now, even at their own party members and it's getting more raunchier as time goes on.

Makes you wonder if anyone in DC is working or busy on social media putting the other guy down.

Maybe that's a good thing. With Congress busy calling folks racist or denying that folks are racist they have no time left to think of ways to spend tax dollars

Incorrect.

There have been Muslims in this country for decades. Prior to 9/11, Middle Eastern Americans were viewed, sociologically, as "privileged" minorities. They came here legally, often with money (but, not always, as was the case with the refugee crisis), they bought and owned their own businesses, and they largely were accepted, even though many who didn't know them well thought their religious beliefs were peculiar.

Not even during the Iran hostage situation did this general sentiment change. Sure, people hated the Ayatollah Khomeini and any radical Muslims in the Middle East, but most Muslims here were viewed as people who wanted to embrace the USA and get away from all that.

Then, 9/11 happened and suddenly, Husam who ran the corner convenience store or Keyser who ran the local Subway restaurant was "probably in a sleeper cell."

No matter how many years those men and their families had been productive members of society.

Oh, there are plenty of Muslim Americans who DID love this country and who want this country to be what it was when they came here, but we seem to be on some weird, regressive path right now.

I cannot blame them for being frustrated. I'm not Muslim and my family goes damned near back to the Mayflower (some further, because mom's side has Cherokee way back... and no, I don't claim to be First Nations or anything)... and I think there are things going on here now that are very disturbing.

And none of them are the things that Trump and Co are so fond of going on and on about.

I agree with you on that point. Are they even doing their jobs anymore? Any of them?

Well, if it walks like a duck and quacks like one... do you not call it a duck?

we should send ALL of them back somewhere, and bring in a fresh crew who will do what they are paid and elected to do..

what a shameful example they are all sending to our kids, and to everyone around the world...

I USED to be a liberal and a very strong democrat. Then I matured, traveled the world and saw how the world works. I talk to many regular folks who tell me they like how honest and straight forward Trump is. They know he is crazy in the head but wish they could speak truth to power like Trump does. One comment from Trump recently that got lots of high fives from my regular folks' friends is when he said that if the illegal aliens flooding our borders did not like their accommodations at the border, that maybe they should just go home. No one invited them!

My friends would agree with the following stats about the Socialist Gang of Four:

Omar - 91% of America disapprove
AOC - 78% of America disapproves
Socialism - 79% of America disapprove
