That is the entire idea of the House of Representatives.........I wonder if all participating in this entire waste of time understand those basics.....

There is a tradition that Jefferson coming home from France, called Washington to account at the breakfast-table for having agreed to a second, and, as Jefferson thought, unnecessary legislative Chamber.

"Why," asked Washington, "did you just now pour that coffee into your saucer, before drinking?"

"To cool it," answered Jefferson, "my throat is not made of brass."

"Even so," rejoined Washington, "we pour our legislation into the senatorial saucer to cool it."

The House is SUPPOSED TO BE HOT COFFEE...too hot to drink. Period.

It was an internal poll conducted by the Democrat party. And they were focused on the swing voter. They voter they think Joe Biden is going to win back. The voter they desperately need to win back, if they don't want to remain nothing more than a regional fringe party. (and shrinking)

And if you miss the fact that keeping Omar & AOC calling everyone and everything racist front in center in the news, is going to do that, then you'll be surprised on election day.

Do you remember all of that?

Too bad he didn't follow his own advice and leave.

Poor Democrats, they don't know what hit them. Trump keeps defining THEIR narrative.

Just like his victory over Hillary, they were playing checkers while he was playing 3D chess.

Conveniently, you fail to mention that among "the people" he's been losing ground the last few days.....

<10 point difference a week ago
10.3 now.....which represents a lot of Americans!

BUT, the truth of the matter - as I am sure waldo knows, is that we'd have to watch the poll of polls over another week or two to know.....

It's hard to imagine them moving much either way - but, in the end, that could be bad for Trump. That is, if he completely solidifies the 42% he cannot get there from here.

If people are flummoxed at having to deal with Trump, I can assure you it's not because he's out-thinking them.

When you are faced with total disregard for the normal conventions of rational and respectful discourse, most intelligent people, I would surmise, would be taken aback for only a moment before ultimately resorting to the baser instincts and getting down there in the mud with their protagonist.

I do not excuse some of the nonsense being spouted by Omar and her "Squad"; the toilet drinking thing being an example of something said being taken way out of context. That group is doing far more harm to any "compassionate" cause the Democratic party might wish to advantage right now.

Anyone who has spent time on or near the border as I personally have will tell you the majority of BP agents are nothing but compassionate in their dealings with illegals they've corralled. I've been in the Yuma General Emerge when a combative illegal being brought in, having sustained minor cuts and scrapes while fighting his captors, gets tended to before the agents who've sustained similar injuries themselves.

I've witnessed a couple of Border Patrol agents holding 2 liter bottles of water up to the parched mouths of a group of illegals who were zip-tied in a circle and watched as they carefully dispensed that liquid gold. We were out by an area called 'The Tanks' on ATV's and a 'copter landed near us to enquire if we'd seen any runners as they had lost a group and were concerned they'd been forced to run in the hot sun for over 6 hours of being hunted by the BP. The concern was for the illegals wellbeing.

All of this nonsense is so media frenzy driven so as to challenge the common sense of most people but, you have to take faith in your agents performing their job in as humane a fashion as they're ALLOWED.
