I an a descendant of those WOPS, well half of me, but I grew up in a 100% American household, of Italian descent. The reason why you love them now? We assimilated and became Americans. My grandparents were born here, but their parents new they had to assimilate, speak English and have pride in our country. Not bash the U.S. constantly like these four HARPIES do.

You're wrong again, but this time you know it.

Not racist - bigoted and prejudiced. Bigotry and prejudice don't necessarily have anything to do with race.

Pelosi should get rebuked by her party if she don't put articles of impeachment for a floor vote. If the Democrats don't see one, I'd call for a vote of no confidence on the Speaker of the House. If not, remember that when Jan 2021 comes and the new Congress is in session... I'm not really progressive but i think the country needs to be more because conservatism has shown it only works so much and we never tried a fully progressive system. The closest we have were parts of the great society (those that weren't bogged down through Vietnam) and ObamaCare (which is a conservative option to progressive healthcare.) Pelosi is a corporatist and not a real liberal, she just plays it.

"...................... and we have never tried a fully progressive system".

We have never tried communism, socialism, fascism, monarchies, nor a theocracy either. Do you think we should just try them to see what happens?

This is the problem with libs- they don't think things through and just react impulsively, much to our detriment.

You do realize, don't you, that this move to the left and embracing "the squad" is destroying any chance that the dems may have had in 2020. And you want Pelosi to get even more crazy than she is now?

Here is what happens-

Maybe............. maybe impeachment proceeding pass the House. Unlikely, but possible. Then it is defeated in the Senate. The dems look even more idiotic and disruptive than they did before (tough to do) and end up not only losing the presidency, but the House as well in 2020.

Could you please run as chairman of the dem party?

Pelosi making too much out of Trump's comments.

Hardly!

The majority of Americans are with her. The president's words were an affront to millions of Americans and descendants of immigrants. Trump's racist comments "have legitimized fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color."

Trump used a longstanding slur against African Americans and other minorities. The ‘go back’ trope is deeply rooted in the history of racism in the United States. Racist is the proper term to apply to the language he used Sunday.

Condemning him is appropriate. His rhetoric and his actions and his insulting denials are divisive and un-American and he is not worthy of the office he holds.

Hint: It won't be long.
Focusing on spelling errors is the exclusive ground of libs, as it demonstrates their self perceived superiority in a society which does not share their opinion. When one cannot excel in any arena of any importance, one needs to reaffirm self confidence by mastery of the trivial and banal.

It is a psychological quirk which is a manifestation of an underlying mindset which characterizes other peculiar aspects of liberal behavior. It is funny as hell, but very consistent.

I NEVER use spell checker- it is like throwing chum to liberals and they get whipped up into a grammar frenzy.

I just don't understand the strategy. The people who get angered by Trump tweets were already in the D column a long time ago. They gain nothing.

Wow- Trump sure knows how to play these idiots. He throws out a little bait and they just implode. The dem party is looking like an unruly mob of children and their presidential hopes for 2020 are fading fast.

The nation is tiring of dems with constant accusations of "racism" and their intractable hatred of Trump. The dems, pre-occupied with their hatred, have accomplished nothing since gaining the House in 2018.

Trump has beaten them again! When will they figure out that he is smarter than they are and beats them at every turn?
Funny how you forgot to mention that the resolution chastising Trump for his "go back to where you came from" remarks passed. With 4 Rs joining the Ds.

Wouldn't surprise to me hear that Pelosi and Hoyer cooked up the whole scene beforehand, as a way to make sure that the record of Trump being called racist on the floor of the House remains forever in the Congressional Record.

So I guess it's a matter of opinion who beat whom here. I can assure you, Pelosi will be wielding the gavel again tomorrow, and her position as Speaker isn't threatened in the least.

And you all can keep on giving each other lessons about typos.
