And where will the water come from for the farm? Water tables everywhere are getting depleted. Surface water is over-subscribed. One of the biggest effects of climate change is that fresh water availability will be severely impacted. Americans will get to experience anti-immigration policies because we will all be clamoring to get into Canada and Canada is going to lock down its border just like Trump is doing.

Every part of the Earth's climate system has continued warming since 1998, with 2015 shattering temperature records.
There's the alarmist rhetoric, and still, nobody describing what they are doing to prepare for the coming catastrophe that is associated with SHATTERING TEMPERATURE RECORDS!!!!

OP: Easy, scientists are not saying we are in imminent danger. That’s the right wing media creating that narrative.

Because this is about the silliest thing I've ever read.

It shows me that you clearly have no understanding on the implications the planet is currently experiencing due to human caused climate change or what the future implications are going to be.

Exactly what do you think a person can buy that will enable them and their family to survive the effects of human caused global warming?
Guns and Ammo or in some cases MORE guns and Ammo......................

Global Warming Imacts

The only alarmists are the deniers as what you've seen the OP discussing. His views are based on mass hysteria reactions. No thanks I prefer words that describe what's currently happening. Sorry you think those words imply something else.
SHATTERING TEMPERATURE RECORDS is language used to evoke excitement, or in this case, panic.

And if as you posit, these words accurately describe what is happening all over the globe, right this minute...then the question stands - what are you personally doing to prepare for the coming cataclysm that you are convinced is imminent? Like if it was me, I'd list all my survival prep that backs up my belief that said prep will very soon be necessary.

Unless you subscribe to the notion that climate change could quickly affect us (like in the movie The Day After Tomorrow), then I do not believe there are any catastrophic events that will occur in many decades if not more. I do believe due to humans we are affecting change on the climate. But in the 59 years I've been alive, if I extrapolate the changes I've seen I believe on current course it could take 50+ years to really being majorly affected.

My life/death concerns are cars and guns, and what do I do about that? I drive every day and put on 20,000+ miles driving in a year. I don't like guns but know I could easily be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't see climate overtaking those concerns in my lifetime.
