So obviously their math skills are hardly stellar.

Do you really think that's fair, my original point? What is the point of bettering yourself and becoming a "model citizen" just to give most of it away?

Leave the Bernie Sanders talking points out this time and actually respond to my OP.

If almost half of adult America pays no tax have you any idea how much UHC would cost for those of us who actually do pay taxes?

And we're supposed to lose our private insurance that we are very happy with (and that we earned) in favor of government-run crap to boot?

Here’s the problem that you might not know about. Most people don’t have the alleged “cheap efficient” health insurance like you. Most people that have insurance have crazy expensive insurance that denies them what they need to get better, and the costs skyrocket after the ACA.
The people that are in this situation want something better, and since our politicians can’t seem to regulate the private insurance companies, it would be better to stop the bribes and lobbying, make UHC happen, and it will be efficient and cheap for everyone and not just you.

You just answered your own question while contradicting yourself.

Look how well the ACA turned out. Poor people get it for free while the middle class pays $1500-2000 premiums that they can't afford. So many go without and then are fined.

I plugged in all my info into the ACA website just to see a few months back....our premium would have been $1700 a month, and that was just the "silver" plan under "average" use. IDK where you live but here $1700 is a mortgage payment for a $350,000 house.

You dems just can't get it through your head, the middle class would suffer greatly under any UHC plan.

Not to mention, kiss the USAs excellent health care and all of our innovations goodbye. Capitalism works, hate to break it to ya.

The best doctors would no longer be here, they probably wouldn't even go into medicine if they're not making the big bucks. Why spend six figures on medical school if you're not going to get a good return on that investment? Why even want to go to school for that long?
