Republicans are all talk about this anyway. They had two years when they could have passed mandatory E-Verify with significant employer penalties. Nary a peep.

Republicans want to stir up their ignorant base about the evils of brown skinned people, but they don't actually want to do anything about immigration.

This, of course, is not lost on those who are able to think.

I am thinking right now. If you really believe that-

1. take in an illegal family into your house

2. fund or support an illegal family

3. contribute to the hospitals going broke by treating illegals for free

4. pay more taxes to pay for the $100 billion cost of illegals

5. Pay more income to your fellow citizens, whose wages have been driven down by illegals

6. Create new humans to replace the citizens killed by illegals

Talk is cheap. Liberals will never spend a dime of their own money to support their causes, as most liberals are actually cheap and greedy. They like to talk about being "compassionate" around their liberal friends to receive accolades, but never do anything.

That is actually worse, as it is very disingenuous;actions speak louder than words and you have not (and will not) do a damn thing to help anyone else out but yourself.

Baloney.

My taxes are already being used to pay for those $750/day accommodations at the border.

My taxes are already being used to pay for the schools, medical treatment, etc. of the nannies, gardeners, etc. of the well-to-do.

The people benefiting from the low-wage labor are the wealthy. They keep the ignorant base stirred up with tales of this, that, or the other but never do anything to fix the problem.

Republicans stripped employer sanctions from Reagan's amnesty bill.

Ask yourself why.

That is the Democrats' great weakness. Without that disproportionate voting power, the nation's farmers would be ignored and forgotten until the famine starts. Even with that power, many farmers commit suicide when they can't pay their bills.

Many snips from such a spot-on article but you get the drift. All Democrats should take the time to read this in its entirety as it does explain how the GOP is becoming a ghost and we can breath a bit easier in the knowledge that there is still hope for the planet and its inhabitants.
There are 4 horsewomen of the Democrat apocalypse, taking all the air out of the room as we type.
Trumps approval jumped 4 points to 50% in the last day.
That had to leave a mark.

"gerrymandering"

States divide up the districts...try winning at the local level for a change.

"ballot harvesting"

The law made it illegal for absentee voters to allow others to collect their completed ballots and turn them in on their behalf, with the exception of family members and caregivers. Democrats filed suit, arguing the law was passed in an attempt to dilute minority voting power.

Democrats now hold supermajorities in both chambers. In 2016, the state legislature passed a law that allows anyone, including union and special interest workers, as well as campaign operatives, to collect and return ballots.

"voter suppression"

Sure, because photo IDs are racist!

"smearing opposition candidates"

The Russia fairy tale wasn't a smear?

Republicans will always win because they put up better show men and women. Forget demographics. I lean left and there's no way I'd vote for Bernie or Beto.

We need real leaders not show men to run this country. But voters vote for show men.
I wonder if youre just making that up, or just misunderstood what you read.
Because Taylor Swift announced last October that her vote isnt going to republicans, she is a democrat.
Adam Levine from Maroon 5 is also a democrat since 2017. Simple google search finds this.

Did you just make all that up?

Of course. The republican fear mongering is only to keep their base voting for them.
But they know that they will never betray the part of their base that owns the companies that hire illegal immigrants, so they wont try to stop illegal immigration. tRump can spout all he wants, it will never get done.
But the base would never believe it when they are told that.

If people haven’t figured out we have a two party system by now they never will. There will always be a left and a right

Farmers are already going bankrupt, committing suicide.

Farmers' suicide rate is double that of veterans.

Are the Senators from Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota, Alaska, ... in there "fighting for the farmers?"

Hardly.
