It'll take some time, but yes Republicans are dying off. Just look at the future.
Gen Z: heavily liberal (see my previous post here)
Millennials: liberal
Gen X: liberal
Baby Boomers: split, but keep in mind they're currently ages 55-75. Stats support that smart people live longer. And Republicans are dumber than Democrats. So the Republican Boomers are going to die off quicker, which will leave the Democratic voting Boomers along with the other Democratic generations before them left to vote. This may take 20 years though.
Silent Generation: Conservative, & holding the Republican party alive with their voting turnout.
The Republican party knows their future is bad, & that's why each election they're pulling harder to cheat votes by gerrymandering, using Russian involvement, drivers license requirements etc. It's only going to get worse cheating wise as the Republicans get more desperate.

"Among Generation X, the numbers still skew slightly Democratic." Hillary Clinton was a bad candidate overall, for Gen Xers. Gen X has never really liked the status quo, & I think would have voted better for Bernie. If I remember right, a lot of Generation X voted Green or 3rd party in 2016.
Only 38% of Gen X approve of Trumps job performance. Majority believe the government should do more to solve problems. And majority believe that increasing racial and ethnic diversity is good for society. Do those sound like Republican values?
I got 4 reasons why White Republicans are dying out.
1. Over-Medicating. We commit suicide at higher rates than just about any other group anywhere. We pop pills because we lost jobs? Aren't we supposed to be tougher than that?
2. Over-Apologizing. Kow-towing ourselves to podium of racial politics. Half the White people in America came through Ellis Island. We don't owe anybody anything more than anybody else.
3. Under-Representing. Anybody else and their brother is allowed to address White people like our existence is wrong and a symbol of oppression. We need more than 25 or 30 Proud Boys or whatever, we need to really take people like Maxine Waters, Illhan Omar, Kamala Harris (who was called out by her own father), and call them out over their BS.
4. Under-Reproducing. We b---h about other groups making too many babies when we, straight up, aren't making enough of our own.
Right, so the guy like me who works his a** off, takes out loans to go to college, goes to and finishes college, finds a job, pays loans back, pays substantial income tax deserves to get screwed while the bottom 40-45% of adult Americans who pay zero taxes can get healthcare for free.
That's fair.
That's what liberals don't get. Almost half of the adult population pays zero federal income tax. Have you guys any idea how expensive that would be for the rest of us who do pay? Universal healthcare will never work here.
Also no major corporation, and most of the 1%, who control more of the country's wealth now than at any time since just prior to the Great Depression. It has always been the contention of Liberals that those who benefit the most from our system should be taxed accordingly, for the benefit of all citizens, even those who have not had the same advantages.

Many snips from such a spot-on article but you get the drift. All Democrats should take the time to read this in its entirety as it does explain how the GOP is becoming a ghost and we can breath a bit easier in the knowledge that there is still hope for the planet and its inhabitants.

good luck with that. Boomers will just leave their wealth to their kids who will then have a step up over the less fortunate kids. They won't want their taxes raised to pay for those who pay no taxes, just like mom and dad. These people don't get it.

Oh God here we go. You don't think the 1% has paid their fair share of taxes? That they actually pay no taxes? I have a bridge to sell you. My family is top 1% and they pay a s***load of taxes every year.
Liberals act like rich people cheat and evade taxes, it's laughable. They'd all be in jail--there's this little teeny weeny entity called the IRS.
You really think it's fair for the 45% of Americans who pay nothing should get even more free stuff, completely free healthcare, at the expense of the successful people?
Why even want to be successful? Why want to be a doctor or scientist, or any high paying job if you're just giving most of it away?
Socialism will never work here, if it would we would already be a socialist country. But we're not, thank god. There's just too many people who don't contribute.
