Yup. And so far, no one has ever attempted to take that freedom away from you or anyone else. We are all totally free to be as wrong as we desire to be.
I'm pretty sure this isn't true but the State does its fair share of maiming, caging, and killing innocents so there is that to consider.
But by all means, if you wan't to be gloriously wrong some more, please feel free to continue. Someone will still be around to remind you more mistaken glory came your way.
Sometimes we don't know what we have until it is gone. So perhaps try living in a country where rights don't exist for a while. Then come back (if you're still alive) and appreciate what you've got in America.
