This is what insurance is for. How many other incidences are we going to pay for?
And until ObamaCare insurance companies could drop you for "preexisting condition." Also ObamaCare required anyone to have insurance until the individual mandate was rolled back under Trump but unless you qualified for Medicaid, you were forced to get insurance.
That's just something you made up because you don't care about the truth. It's about how are we going to pay for it, who has the oversight, what is the cost going to be.
It’s been OVER 17 YEARS!
Anyone standing in the way is a disgrace. Doesn’t matter what your pathetic excuse is.
This should have been figured out long ago because these people have suffered. My aunt came down with cancer after being in the Pentagon on 9/11 passed away years ago. At least do for the first responders. It has been so long already.
I would think that FD, PD, along with other first responders, have great health care, disability pensions, along with SSDI, that covers them when involved with a work related injury.
What a great doctor I am disgusted of always hearing what a great guy this pandering idiot is.
so what...Paul voted against the bill based on a standard (the deficit is tooo high)
his vote against.... is just raising an issue of we need to cut some spending....
Under Senate rules, any one senator can propose that a bill be considered for unanimous consent, but one senator can also block it. The bill can still be brought to the floor for debate and a full vote.
the bill only needs 51 to pass...it has 73 verified supporters
Paul is just looking for some cuts in other areas of our 4.4 Trillion dollar budget to pay for it. He's believes new spending needs to be offset by commensurate cuts. He's has no gripe with funding 9/11 victims. Fine, go ahead and pass the bill, just don't complain about deficit spending or the debt.

I thought what Loveshiscountry typed was quite clear. He didn't say "we were at war on 9/11", he asked why you are voting for the same people who are trying to start wars by overthrowing and government building? Do Libya and Syria ring any bells?
The minute Trump starts getting us the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan both parties have a fit.
Speaking of. The Dems are just as much to blame for Iraq. It doesn't matter if they're against it after they were for it. They all voted to go to war and only a small handful that didn't are innocent.
Aren't both sides tired to pretending the parties are representing us when we have zero influence once they get our votes?
If you aren't you damn well should be.

He and just a few Pubs have been consistent about being budget neutral or cutting the deficits. It's a lost cause when every politician is spending like a drunken sailor.
I also think it's crazy that the left blame Trump for adding 1.6T to the debt (in over two years) when it was the left who made 200B of add-ons to the budget themselves. It was the only way he could rebuild a military that was in horrible shape.
Obama averaged nearly 1.4T every year for 8 years. Trump is on pace to add about 1/2 what Obama added and 65% of what GWB added.
HRC would have put us in a war and the debt would have been 24T by now.

Then try having a go at cutting entitlements. This money is needed for the rescue crews and other heroes from that day that got 9/11 related cancer and disease. 10k have cancer directly related to 9/11, 300k more can contract a 9/11 related cancer.

Thank goodness government is so efficient that they take care of business almost TWENTY YEARS AFTER IT HAPPENED. This is the same efficiency those who served run into.
Why do you hate those who defend America?
