Bingo. The GOP is an increased danger to this country. They are trying to take away healthcare without offering any healthcare. They want people with pre-existing conditions and 9/11 responders to fend for themselves while they take millions from lobbyists in exchange for big corporate welfare.

So can we all stop pretending that Rand Paul is all about fiscal responsibility? Or is only when he feels like it?

Paul was fine with a large unpaid-for tax cut for the corporate and the wealthy, and oddly did not seem to fret about paying for that.

Stiffing the dying rescuers of 9/11? This is not a good look for anyone and worse for a guy who blithely passed the aforesaid tax cut.

"..Rand Paul, Whose Tax-Cut Vote Added $1 Trillion to the Deficit, Tells 9/11 Victims to Suck It..."

"....Seeking to out-evil Mitch McConnell, on Wednesday, Paul made it clear that unless you’re a multinational being forced to pay a 35% tax rate, he doesn’t give a **** about your suffering, blocking an attempt by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to win the Senate’s consent to approve a House-passed bill that would fund the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund until fiscal 2090.

Suddenly remembering that he claims to care about the debt and deficits, Paul objected to the bill, saying, “It has long been my feeling that we need to address our massive debt in this country.” (Reminder: Paul rallied his colleagues around a bill that is projected to help push the deficit to $896 billion in 2019. But we digress.).."

The truth is, it's about how are we going to pay for it and how is the oversight going to be handled. You should care about the truth.

An over whelming majority of the middle class got a tax cut. Not that you care about the truth. Less money going to the Feds is fiscal responsibility. Unpaid because the big spenders you loved increased spending. It's never been a tax problem. It's always been a spending problem.

He's not stiffing them. He wants other cuts to pay for it and wants oversight. Not that you care about the truth.

There were no spending cuts so no it wasn't. In reality spending went up.

No one but you has mentioned that there were actual spending cuts.
And when less money is going to the Fed, yes indeed that is fiscal responsibility. That the big government spenders blew the second part of the equation that came AFTER the tax cuts, is on them and all their supporters.

Because big government supporters voted in that destructive manner.

I support paying for everything I support. Your plan is to renege on our obligations.

The left isn't a bunch of war mongers, they just elect the the war mongers to the White House. You know, the one person who controls troop movements and can bring the troops home at any time. Yet that elected democrat does the opposite.
