It sure would be great if they could take the extremists from the other side along with them. Then the rest of us could get to work putting the country back together again.

The GOP had control for two years before 2018, they passed tax cuts for the wealthy and now we're a trillion in debt. None of the other things happened.

Well, JRR what's stopping you from putting it together now? The Democrats you support haven't done ANYTHING except whine about Trump for 2+ years. Trump has tried working with them on things like infrastructure and immigration reform, but it is pointless.

The only reason the Democrat politicians are acting the way they are is because their voters don't demand action on actual policy.

The tax cuts mainly impacted businesses. as a business woman, I am sure you understand the reasons behind that so I won't insult you by reiterating the reasons. as to the tax cuts "for the weathy", most American taxpayers got some federal tax cuts, including workers who paid the most in federal taxes.

there is much to be done regarding the issues I raised in my previous post and nothing will get done unless there is one party controlling Washington due to partisanship.

The GOP had complete control for two years. They didn't do any of that.

Democrats will delight in not giving Trump a SCJ during his last two years and Trump will lose it.

As Trump walks away, the country will be on the brink of civil war with both sides hating the other side with the heat of a thousand suns. I'm guessing his supporters will be highly motivated through the next election, then they will go quiet, not really caring anymore because their investment was in Trump the personality more than anything else. They love that he's an ******* and that he hates the other half of the country like they do.

Once Trump can no longer run, his supporter's anger will be exhausted while the anger on the other side will be unquenchable. We've never had anyone like Trump that truly delights in representing only his base and inciting anger. The desire for retribution will likely tear this country apart.

The debt will be through the roof, farmers, miners and rust belters will be in the same shape or worse, blue states will want full on revenge, refusing to so much as interview a person from a red state while our allies will have started working without us because we can no longer be relied upon.
Maybe the democrats should give us someone we could consider voting for? Just maybe? Give us someone like the democrats were 20 years ago. Give us a democratic candidate that doesn’t promise the voters trillions of dollars in free stuff, when we all know that taxes will have to go sky high to pay for it. Give us a candidate that is actually against illegal immigration, like the democrats used to be.

When you have every single candidate wanting to give health insurance to illegal aliens at the cost of the citizens, that makes Trump the sane choice. I mean, what are you guys doing? Your candidates are trying so hard to not be like Trump, to be the anti-Trump, that they are proposing all sorts of crazy, socialist, globalist policies. And the democratic voters are hearing it so much that they starting to believe that that is what the majority wants, when the moderates and independents are scratching their heads, wondering what happened to both parties.

Not much I can do at this time to demand something different from my Senators or Representative, as they are all Republicans. Two of them are firmly attached to Trump's posterior and the third (who is more moderate) is retiring. I've voted Republican in the past (as recently as 2012 for Romney) and would not have a problem in doing it again for a moderate candidate. I would have voted for Bush, Kasich or Rubio in 2016 over Clinton. Republicans in general are not my sticking point; Trump is.

If Trump is re-elected, there will be outrage and probably violence. We've already practically got two separate countries and we could be on the verge of civil war. Trump will do more stupid things like taking away health insurance, wrecking our national parks will things like oil drilling, more and more of the things that many believe in and value will be taken until the country will nearly split.

New England would like to merge with Canada but that's never going to happen. We're not enough like the west coast to merge with them but we seem to be very little like the south. The Dems will feel disempowered and more furious than ever and that makes a lot of Repubs laugh. Well, they can laugh, but that's not such a smart thing to do because the future of our union is at stake and laughing will only make the Dems angrier.

Trump will probably clamp down on the border completely instead of letting asylum seekers have a try at it. That will make Hispanics furious. I don't know where any of this leaves black people but we're all divided up into factions now anyway so it will just get worse.

I think there will be bombs, shootings, maybe even assassination/s as people become more and more frustrated and furious. This violence will be political in nature, not just mass violence. When Trump removes health insurance, probably organized groups will verbally attack him and more groups will organize to stop him. Maybe he won't be able to take it and will finally crumble or suffer a major health or mental meltdown.

It won't be pretty if Trump gets re-elected; people have really had enough.
