Pretty much a collective melt down on the left. I don't want for more years of Trump, I didn't want any years of Trump. I just dont see anyone the Democrats are putting up as worthy of my vote. Bunch of extremists and anti-whites. I can't even imagine the uproar from the left if a candidate substituted Old white me for say black men, or women, or hispanic men.

For me and my rich friends. For all those factory workers whose jobs he was supposed to bring back, not so much.

If Trump wins the far left will act as they always do when things don't go their way by burning up their own cities and staying out of conservative areas because they know they won't get away with behaving like a raging cocaine addicted chimpanzee. The rest of society will be no different than it was before Trump was elected.

As big of a Dbag Trump is, 1st world whiners really take the cake. There will be no civil war. There will be a run on the liquor store, I'll wave to you in line.

After a sick\hangover day people would go back to work and grouse about him but frankly, my day to day life has not significantly changed since Obama.

I remember the initial complaints about Trump. Mass war, nuclear war etc. We've had some things I sure don't like but there is no apocalyptic landscape out there.

I'm not even a Trump voter, I'll be happy with a replacement. Just explaining how ridiculous the "apocalypse" is and how some people are frankly mentally ill.
You may think so, and how nice of you to call people mentally ill.

Truth is, a lot of people want to make this country a better place. There is always room for improvement. People have had enough of Trump taking us backwards, his hollering, stupid Tweets, insults, lies, and so on. We have not given up on America and so if he is elected again we will keep striving to fulfill the dream that was once America, to make it really great again. No more of this fake stuff. People will fight to take America back if it comes to that.

Democrats will delight in not giving Trump a SCJ during his last two years and Trump will lose it.

As Trump walks away, the country will be on the brink of civil war with both sides hating the other side with the heat of a thousand suns. I'm guessing his supporters will be highly motivated through the next election, then they will go quiet, not really caring anymore because their investment was in Trump the personality more than anything else. They love that he's an ******* and that he hates the other half of the country like they do.

Once Trump can no longer run, his supporter's anger will be exhausted while the anger on the other side will be unquenchable. We've never had anyone like Trump that truly delights in representing only his base and inciting anger. The desire for retribution will likely tear this country apart.

The debt will be through the roof, farmers, miners and rust belters will be in the same shape or worse, blue states will want full on revenge, refusing to so much as interview a person from a red state while our allies will have started working without us because we can no longer be relied upon.

What does the country look like AFTER TRUMP?
I hate to be a flowery optimist, but it's very interesting to note that a lot of left leaning people are believing that Trump will be reelected. I think that in a very odd way, that might actually help to lessen polarization.

Thinking he could be reelected would not mean I think any more of his supporters. In fact the important thing to always remember after Trump has gone is who his supporters were and holding them socially and economically accountable. Trump being reelected would not mean blue states did not hate him or his supporters. He would still poll at 8% in Seattle. I think Trump being reelected will double down on the polarization from the left while the anger on the right would deflate because he could no longer be on the ballot and will still be a fat balding old man.

We think he will be reelected because the Dems are not putting any moderate forward who most of us could get behind. It's not because Trump is any good. There are no moderate candidates anywhere on either side. But even a moderate Democrat is not going to stand much longer for a total idiot in the White House. It will only divide the country even more, if that is possible.

No worse than it was when Dubya left. We will survive.
