"Threatening to leave"? That is simply amazing. They apparently think that their presence in a nation is so valued that everyone will pay for their food and housing, as they benefit so much from all the crime (diversity) they bring?

I would pay for them to leave and prevent Denmark from becoming a third world crap hole. The Danes are too nice (so are the Dutch). They need to learn from the Poles and Hungarians.

I guess Europeans have found out how to stop wild animal infestation- stop feeding them. They advise you to do the same thing in the national parks. Once you start feeding the wild animals, they can attack the people and then the animals have to be put down.

The sad thing is that maybe these refugees really do believe they were invited to be there and the welfare benefits are their salaries. lol

Total policy failure.

If you recall Britain wanted to do something similar, but was told it could only do so for a limited period of time. The PM Cameron did his best before the Brexit vote, but the EU was adament on the issue and now it seems Britain is leaving and Denmark is doing exactly wehat Britain proposed ding in the first place.

I think the immigrants on welfare threatening to leave will force Denmark to back down and possibly even increase their welfare.

Diversity is strength so to lose so much diversity all at once would destroy the very fabric of Denmark and think of all of the lost consumption of those welfare dollars that would cripple their economy if the welfare immigrants left Denmark to Sweden's advantage.

2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state

3 : a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

It's refreshing to see a supporter finally admit that we have an internal problem, not only here, but in the countries the immigrants are fleeing. Fixing internal problems makes better sense than wasting money on a wall. Eliminate the incentive, eliminate the migration.

Part of the internal problem is a president that employed half a village illegally from Costa Rica. Trump had two years of total Republican control, yet his biggest priority was to give one big tax break to the rich. That tells me that he has no interest in addressing our internal problem.

Trump to his credit did resend a lot of the H1B visa's, and he did tell 60,000 Haitian refuges that they had to leave our country. They were admitted after the big earthquake in 2010. Forty thousand had a deadline to leave this July. The Haitians are trying to go to Chile and over 100,000 have attempted to enter. Chile responded by issuing new visa restrictions. No wall needed with common sense reform.

Look, I'm in favor of helping people and we do that world wide. It doesn't mean you get to come here for a free ride for 9 years like the Haitians did. Our country will always need immigrants, and Trump said so himself in Breitbart. It should never be all or nothing, but a common sense balance. I agree with Trump's merit based system. We should only be taking immigrants who can contribute. That doesn't mean we stop taking refugees and asylum seekers, but, we have to have a common sense approach to this as well. We can't save the world.

It only encourages newcomers to do nothing. Not so with Denmark.
Isn't that racist?

But, but.... I thought the Europeans were so much better than us here, more understanding, more giving, much more tolerant and generous.

If these immigrants are unhappy with the host country, they can most certainly hit the bricks and leave.
