Libs-

With disapproval rates in the 90% range, do you really think that having Omar and AOC front and center for the dem party is favorable to your cause?

So- honest question- do you think that AOC and Omar help or hurt the democrat cause and their election chances in 2020?

AOC is a future democratic nominee, and possibly a future president. The media love her.

There are idiots in both parties.

To pretend these women represent the Democrats is not necessarily accurate or real life.

There are 20 some odd candidates for the Presidential nomination.....not one of them are these women Trump and his base have chosen to focus on.

I'ts not a good look.

go after the policy. Stop saying things like 'send her back'. Talk logically, rationally, intellectually why their policies aren't what we need.

Just identifying them and coming up with a simple, 'send her back' chant is not effective at all. Sure sure -- it is with the base. Trump rally goers love nothing more than some kind of simple chant to get them energized. Lock her up -- build the wall.....send her back..........

But not sure that's going to swing a vote.

AOC will run for Speaker if she's re-elected.

They won their elections by getting the most votes and with no foreign enemies helping them, so at least they are liked in their own districts. As for the country, most Americans, who don't spend the day glued to right wing media, had never heard of them until Trump directed racist remarks at them. Now they are sympathetic persons to most Americans.

It may not be accurate, but rest assured that Trump and the republicans will keep AOC and Omar front and center in the press and convince the American public THEY ARE the face of the dem party.

Every party has "undesirables", but AOC and Omar are setting a new standard for scary, crazy politicians that strike fear into normal people. Open borders, communism and Muslim terrorists- that will play well!

They are in districts that only elect democrats and their constituents are not a reflection of America at all.

Of course they won their districts- Bin Laden and Stalin would have been elected in those districts.

I think people who support them will always support and love them.

As for most Americans, nobody really knows for sure.

I do believe, however, most Americans are moderate. They might lean right or left on certain issues, but most people in this country, Thanks GOD! are moderate. Believe it or not, even for us Trump voters, most of us are moderate people. Surprise, surprise.

I don't think EVERYTHING they said are wrong, but they are too extreme for my taste. That OMAR woman is more suitable to be a blogger, the fact that she is a congresswoman is pretty scary to me.

I have a lot of liberal friends and none really liked Omar either. I think one person likes AOC, but that is about it. I am a Republican/conservative, they are liberals/Democrats, none really likes extreme views. All of us believe race card is played way too much by the Democratic party. lol

My liberal friends say that these women would stay relevant for the color of their skin. Even they know the real reasons why the Democrats keep them there. "Oh, you'd better not criticize them, if you criticize them, you must hate minorities and women, you must be a racist."

What is your definition of moderate?

Is it moderate to deny people cancer treatment if they cant pay the treatment bill? Is it moderate to support for-profit prisons, a $7.25 minimum wage and the worst labor rights in the industrialized world?

Some people scream that AOC is an extremist who do not support this, but to me, it seems very moderate. And most Americans agree.
