At some point they really need to give up. Almost 4 years now of looking for ways to impeach.
I wish Congress had spent as much time doing the jobs they were elected to do as they did trying to find reasons to impeach Trump.

but impeachment is doomed to fail if the party leadership says they do not support the idea.
This is likely doomed to fail with support from leadership. There is a lot of Democrats that will have to walk the plank for it to succeed. I doubt they will want to stick their necks out for something they themselves think is nuts.

They have no choice the Dems have been pushing Impeachment since the Election as a political tool to garner support for the party. Now they are stuck because so many, including members of Congress actually listened to all the rhetoric and now they are caught in their own trap. As the old saying goes. "be careful what you wish for"

The House Democrats need something to occupy their time. They certainly have not used their time to accomplish one single thing that helps the average American, or any American.

Pointless investigations, pointless contempt votes, pointless impeachment resolutions. The do-nothing Democrats truly are the worst we've seen in a long, long time.
