If the USA had vast amount of money pouring in from almost everywhere (Christians, Muslims, Jews, NGOs, Governments worldwide) then we'd be a bit more flush.....

Also, if we started from close to scratch and brought in mostly literate and educated people - the same would goose the economy and allow us to flourish.

I won't even do the math- but adjusting for population, the amount of $$$ flowing "free" into Israel would seem to be vast.

Of course, we could do it anyway if we had health care costs the same as other advanced countries and didn't spend many trillions extra on the Security State, etc.

Kind of like a perpetual game of chasing your own tail. As long as the none of the raping, robbing, and killing happens in my house it's only "collateral damage" to me.

I honestly could give two god damns what happens to the Middle East. Israel included. The entire area could disappear tomorrow and nobody would even notice since (outside of Israel) that region contributes nothing of to the world except terrorism, religion extremism and oil.

But, so long as the political realities are what they are, and so long as the Middle East has been engaged in a 1400 year quest to subjugate the world, we will always have to keep a wary eye on that region. Lest people forget that up until WW1 the Ottoman Empire was one of the most enduring and brutal forces in the world, with occupation tentacles that reached into Europe.

Not picking on them. Just trying to make a point about how decent the Israeli people are when it comes to taking care of each other.

Why is Israel so special?

Armed robbery, rape, and killing are universal with my money.

I dunno..might be due to economy of scale ? 8 million vs 330 million + 20-30 million illegals ?
Study done on medicare for all has it starting at $30 trillion and going up to $56 trillion.

Let's be somewhat accurate - 330 Million or so likely on the 2020 census.

Ok, thanks.

As another poster pointed out, there are only 9 million living there. You can't expect the same in America, with 300+ million, half of whom don't pay federal income tax, and with 1 million illegal immigrants coming in every year needing us to educate and feed their children. Just can't compare.

Some masters are lighter on the whip than others, sure.

Kind of an odd thing to do to single out one specific master (State) for praise based on your opinion but I guess that's your prerogative.

Print and steal. See the Fed for a step-by-step instructional.
