They're both GOP plants that are used to sabotage the Democrat party's mass appeal. AOC and Omar taking over the party is not a good thing because their message only holds water with those that resonates those issues. Majority of voters are looking for bigger things like immigration laws, tax reform, income inequalities, etc.

Yeah. I think these 4 are illustrating that they are not representing the people of their districts. Rather, they are mostly after fame, fortune and disruption of the Democratic party.

The people in their districts that they were elected to represent, are being mostly ignored.

I think AOC is especially vulnerable in her district. Plus a great sounding Republican opponent just announced yesterday she was taking AOC on. AOC is not very smart either, so in a debate, she may embarrass herself.

If Biden is nominee they will encourage liberals to vote third third party. Which means 4 more years of Trump.

Honestly the fact that they've gotten so far in their political careers is scary enough to me, but I still do have faith in the American people that they will not only not go anywhere serious, but also won't last very long where they're at now. Both of them are clueless; especially AOC.

AOC has had so many fails already in her short political career (border fence crying hoax, getting destroyed by the ICE director, her dumb streams/tweets...) that she REALLY won't last. Well, I hope she doesn't.

They are both so crazy that one would think they ARE republican plants, as no rational person could be so damaging to their own party.

Alas, they are not plants- they are just anti-American left wing idiots. One simply has to read posts on this board to understand that MANY liberals support what they say 100%.

Liberals have just gone so far over the deep end that what would have gotten someone committed to a lunatic asylum ten years ago is taken as "normal" by the dems.

Thank God both are around and now unfettered prior to the election, as they are so stupid that they will continue to say stupid, offensive things. It is what dumb people do- they can't help themselves.

The dems will have to wait until 2024 and see if they can get their house in order. What should they do? Replace Pelosi as speaker and have the new speaker orchestrate a condemnation of "the squad" by house dems. That could save them; however, that will never happen, as it is too logical and dems act by emotion, not logic.

Big difference between a country with a population of 5 million and one with 330 million (and 30 million illegals). Most entire Scandinavian countries have the population of one good sized US city. More importantly they have a pretty monolithic culture and background. Whereas we have perhaps the most diverse one in the world. And that creates an entirely different scenario to start from.
This is very true. Monolithic cultures tend to want to provide more care for its own people. When you start to mix in too many "others" into the population, then people don't want to provide that care for the others. Look at the thread here about Denmark wanting to cut welfare to Pakistani migrants.

It is human nature : I will work hard to take care of us, but not for you. Our obsession with hypenations in this country: African-American, Irish -American, Mexican-American helps divide us even more.
