Given that they now have free reign to say what they want, how crazy will they get?

I have never witnesses a political party in such a state of self destruction.

You realize also that any dem POTUS candidate will have to pass the litmus test of "the Squad's" approval. Suddenly these crazy idiots have been given tremendous power from a mistake by Pelosi. Perhaps every dem presidential candidate in the future will have to be a minority or a Muslim terrorist.
Like Trump. I'm no fan of AOC and Omar, but don't dislike them either. Omar and AOC will take things far, however pushing an agenda on national stage and grandstanding while forgetting about their districts. AOC and Omar might loose their seats if they keep on doing what they are doing.

Trump is using them for his own nefarious purposes, as his rally the other night amply illustrated. His hypocritical and dishonest rejection of his chanting followers are yet another example of classic Trumpism: do or egg on the outrageous, then deny or disclaim and plead innocence a day or so later, while attempting to look as innocent as a lamb and as fragrant as a rose. He does this again and again, and it's high time voters of both parties catch on to him.

The "squad" would do well to tone it back and slow it down, learn from the elders in their party, and understand that their youthful exuberance and idealism comes across as extremism in many cases, and that there are more subtle, more effective ways to achieve their goals that don't involve blowing off voters who might otherwise be open to their ideas.

As it is, they are playing into the hands of the Trumpites, regardless of their intentions. Democrats cannot afford to be divided among themselves at present - party unity to defeat Trump and restore sanity to this country should be the compelling goals, not individual vanity or sudden fame.

The Squad, like their fellow Democrats, need to keep their eyes on the prize and take the long view. Once we have more Democrats in office, they will be better able to move towards achieving their goals, some of which are pretty unrealistic but others of which are very much worth considering - and achieving.

I'm starting to think they will be the salvation of the Democratic Party and of the USA.

Well.. then Socialism sounds GREAT to them.

Even though they are actually want is a Scandinavian modell... Highly capitalistic with a strong safety net.

Whats not to like... the Younger generation want this!

.
Does the younger generation understand that it's only 1 month's paycheck to buy a visa and passport, get a plane ticket, and move to Scandanavia? If not, there's probably even some philantropists who would be happy to help them move. We don't want to be Scandanavia or Canada or anywhere other than good ole Murica.

Getting a little ahead of yourself with sweeping generalizations but that’s what you do. A better question is why a president devotes so much time to freshmen congressmen, athletes and others who criticize his policies. He should be building a coalition to solve the problems on the border or coming up with a healthcare replacement but that would require thought, easier to deflect.

the problem is that the young people are being sold a bill of goods by the avowed socialists. they keep telling the kids that everything will be free, and that sounds good, until their taxes go through the roof, and that $15 minimum wage is no longer enough to live on.

Could you please be more specific? What is your point? How far in relation to what?

They already blew it. "The Squad" has made extremist, anti-American statements that will be played in election ads in 2020.

The dems rushing to their "rescue" and throwing their full support behind them now gives them free reign to continue with their hateful, anti-American rhetoric which the dem party was trying to keep under wraps.

Now the dem party is the party of anti-Americanism, radical Islam, and open borders- all the very unpopular issues which the democrats have supported. Like it or not, those four idiots are now the voice of the democrat party. They are too dumb to think that what they tout is very unpopular among the average American, as they have no idea what an average American is.

Trump played "The Squad" and Pelosi perfectly; they are so dull witted they did not realize they were being played and they handed Trump the 2020 election on a silver platter.

You must be new to politics if you can't see what Trump did to the Republican party.

He turned it from a party of values and pride in America into a jingoistic shadow of itself that twisted the idea of pride in America into pride in white supremacy.

Any white supremacist will agree and not care because they don't care about what the Republican party stood for, they just want their racist egos stroked.

Meanwhile the country's self serving multi-millionaires are laughing all the way to the bank because Trump's ultimate goal is actually not white supremacy, like the SJWs think, it is oligarchy of the wealthy.

Conservatives have always been the party of business, always..in the last hundred some years the world has had two world wars that destroyed much infrastructure in our foreign competitors country's, while the US was mainly isolated with two large oceans..perhaps American Capitalism with a few "liberal" niceties thrown in WAS enough to dominate the world in those times...
NOW we all seem to have been thrown into some "Global Capitalistic" environment when Bill Clinton went for the NAFTA stuff and abandoned the "traditional" worker...some of these moved to the TEA party and some remain FDR democrats
with trump just taking the traditional republican tax-cuts route we have same-old-sameold....but tariffs are NOT condoned by the globalist...are they an answer probably NOT but they are a shakeup...some of the progressives go after racism etc, etc...is that the answer? i doubt it...until BOTH sides of common ordinary worker join hands the mess called globalism will continue
