They would have us believe that 11 million illegal aliens are out producing over 300 million plus citizens and legal immigrants. They do have large families usually but it hasn't come to that point yet so that poster should stop drooling all over his/her computer in glee. Whites are still the majority in this country and many minorities are re-producing with them.

Do you understand how things work? The repubs had control of the house and senate but they didn't have a super majority. Plus, they couldn't pass anything without having some dems on their side. It was the same thing during the first two years of Obama's first term. The dems had control but didn't have a super majority.

That's why nothing got fixed.

No one is telling the truly needy that they shouldn't get any help and no one is calling anyone lazy if they actually aren't. Stop the lies! Many if not most Hispanics (except the Cubans) will never vote for the Republicans because they oppose amnesty for their illegal amigos. Let the truth be told for once!

This is an honest question to all people advocating for the rights of "undocumented immigrants". Why do you think they are a righteous cause?
It’s not right but what do you think you would do if the neighbor next door beat the wife - the kid and killed the dog. Are you one that would not open the door to the bleeding bruised lady ? The laws, that most don’t want to understand - make people to get a visa here extremely hard or obtain a green card after a 10 yr wait. Old laws. And now he twisting the asylum - so between a rock and a hard place. How would you handle it ? Until people walk the mile, there’s no understanding.

Think until they can improve upon current immigration increased undocumented inmigration will continue

Think if they can reduce the backlog. Increase number of green cards a year. Increase quotas for Countries immigrants come from. Make changes to applying for green card based off of employment. Have demand skilled jobs individuals can apply and U.S. will work with individual in obtaining employment. Those with degrees but not a demanded skill can apply where level of degree could place individual higher on the list. Asylum for those already working 24 hours or more or in college or own their own business. Make undocumented inmigration a civil offense. Work with border Nation's to improve Border safety. Work with Nation's in regards to improving trade of goods and reducing crimes affecting both Nation's such as drug trafficking. Work with NATO in finding ways to promote more economical stability and less corruption in the Government in Central American Countries. Increase refugee numbers. Allow those with a Green Card to vote if they pay taxes.

What in the world are you getting at? You didn't make yourself very clear.

Are you saying that we should allow every domestic violence victim in the world to come here? What about American victims? Are they supposed to show up at the Canadian border and demand asylum?

There is a good reason it's difficult for those from third world countries to come here---and that is, we don't need people who are low IQ, unskilled and functionally illiterate. Wanting asylum and claiming economic reasons is not allowed. Nor is saying "my husband beats me" a reason either.

Your analogy of the next door neighbor is a poor one.

I don't think most people believe illegal immigration is "right." They just understand that it's a natural course of desperate people. I think there are something like 50,000,000 refugees in the world now.

There should be no asylum seekers from mexico, since thete are nice parts of mexico they can move to.
There should be no asylum seekers from other countries in s america, or coming thru mexico since they are supposed to seek asylum in the first country they come to. The only valid country we should get asylum seekers from is cuba and canada. And also the iraqui and afghans that helped usvin the wars, like translators.
