Our system is not broken. It works great for people who are supposed to be here. The problem with illegals is that they aren't part of the system. They want the rights that legitimate immigrants have.

You know who has torpedoed immigration reform every time over the last decade? The GOP!
What they call "immigration reform" is a euphemism for amnesty. There can be no path to citizenship for people here illegally. We cannot legitimize the stay of people who came to the United States unlawfully. That will only encourage more people to do the same. People need to learn that they cannot come to the United States illegally.

Rather than go through and respond independently to each of you ... Two things.

One, the Statue of Liberty and the Declaration of Independence (rules of law) are two of the cornerstone principles of what it means to be an American. Just so you know, I know.

Two: Trot me out the immigration law(s), they broke.

If they are not a part of the system, what then is it that makes them illegal?

You should read so as to understand the following:
The History of the Flores Settlement

That is immigration reform ^ until it changes by way of Congress it is the law of the land, which is being broken, but no one cares about that. "As of early 2019, however, such a fix has yet to pass Congress, and doesn't look likely to any time soon."

You people care more about the citizenship status and are quick wit to cry illegals ... but when it comes to our government breaking the law, crickets.

B/c I'm not kicking out someone who incurs all the trauma of fighting overseas for America and then is told to get out.

If Conservatives weren't such A-holes about amnesty, we'd have already resolved the the border crisis.
So you think breaking the law is fine as long as you can hide long enough?
How is amnesty going to stop the border crisis? Its been done before. Its just a magnet?

If you know the laws, probably because you came here through the system LEGALLY, you will understand why it is so wrong to do it illegally. It's like flaunting it in your face. You obeyed the law, you filled in all the forms, you supplied the birth certificate, parent's birth certificates, paid for and got your back ground checked and sent that in, you got your injections and in depth medical exam by one of our doctors. You waited and waited and waited. Then you got the call to go to the embassy in your country and submit to the interview (which is not at all pleasant as the interviewers can be mean, rude, and intimidating.)

So why, if you went though all this and paid thousands of $$ to the US government for the privilege of coming here and getting a green card, would you have any sympathy for illegals? Any Democrat who has been through the system feels this way and we do NOT, repeat NOT want stupid open borders.

The United Nations

"Each of the "Great Powers" — the United States, Great Britain, France, China, and the Soviet Union — holds a permanent seat on the Security Council."

Oh that makes perfect sense because all tbe security council nations have uniform laws as dictated by the UN.
Your reply makes no sense.

I dont normally resort to ad hominem so quickly but you must be the most confused person posting in this forum.

The soviet union was dissolved 30 years ago!

I repeat, what makes you think a UN officials statement is law in the US? Nutty AF.
