MLK had a 63% disapproval rating among the general populace, in 1966.

It's safe to say that the conservatives on this site would have HATED him.

Shame on you for equating MLK to the ilk of Omar.
You're right. MLK did not call 1/2 of America racist. He called way more than 1/2 of America racist. Then he doubled down and called the institutions of America racist. Then he peed on everything America holds sacred and said "btw... We should also ditch capitalism and embrace socialism."

GTFO MLK, right?

Republicans always talk about how much they admire and respect MLK...

MLK who was critical of America
MLK who thought racism was the core of America and White Americans
MLK who thought entire institutions of America should be brought down
MLK who was an avid Socialist and saw it as the fundamental change America needed to make

Soooo... MLK should have GTFO, right?
MLK was not in the country illegally.

He was a rapist, however, he (like all lib heroes) was above the laws that apply to the citizens of the US.

Why are all liberal heroes horrible people?

Of course not. He called all of America racist, and how do you know what anyone really thinks deep down? Perhaps he hated it whenever someone called the n word, yelled at him to go back to Africa, and whatever happened to cause him to take the lead on the Civil Rights movement. He might have loved a few things about America, but pretty certain he hated most things about it.

Who among the people we are talking about are here illegally? A citizen is a citizen is a citizen, and I have a lot more respect for someone like Ilhan Omar who became a citizen at 17 than someone who was born here and takes it for granted.

PS - Trump has been accused of rape, too.

Yes yes yes. Embrace the dark side. Tear down the one shield you use to deflect from your unabashed racism.

Once you guys commit to a story, you'll change your entire world view to stay consistent.

MLK was beaten, hosed, arrested, spied on and eventually murdered. This country has a long history of racism and telling anyone of color who challenged the system to “leave” if they don’t like it.

Do I want them to leave? Can't say I would be sad, but that is up to the folks who elected them.

Rather, I would like them to tone it down, behave a little better, respect the system and the institution to which they have been elected, serve their constituents well, and most of all, stop behaving like a pack of teenagers on social media. They and the fat buffoon in the White House are turning this country into a circus.

Having said that, what MLK has to do with an airhead from the Bronx and a Jew-hating twit from Minnesota is a mystery to me.
Think harder or stop being obtuse. The connection is clear.

Since MLK is dead folks love him and have remixed his speech and basically use one quote to represent him.

Same thing happened with Ali. When he was a young boxer America HATED him but once he was old and harmless he became a hero.

That does not seem to stop anyone from inviting them in, or shipping them in, and then enjoying the entertainment and low wage profits they bring.
