MLK's message was to not see skin color nor race, but "content of character". The Four Jihadists only want to see divisive, skin color, gender, ethnicity, etc. All IDENTITY POLITICS all the time, purely to divide. No, I don't think they need to "get out", but they need to be defeated. They are counterproductive to the progress of America.
That was his challenge to racist America.
However, in the same speech he condemned America’s love with White Supremacy. You guys love to white wash MLK so you can use him to make yourselves feel less racist.
Since MLK is dead folks love him and have remixed his speech and basically use one quote to represent him.
Same thing happened with Ali. When he was a young boxer America HATED him but once he was old and harmless he became a hero.
Truth. MLK is the embodiment of the quote "die the hero or live long enough to become the villain."
Every single contemporary of MLK's is absolutely reviled by conservatives today. The only reason they respect him now, is that he didn't live long enough to become their target.
The argument that Conservatives have now adopted for criticism of America is... If you don't think America is perfect, if you think there's something dark about America's history, if you think there's a fundamental flaw at the core of America... Then you should leave.
Republicans always talk about how much they admire and respect MLK...
MLK who was critical of America
MLK who thought racism was the core of America and White Americans
MLK who thought entire institutions of America should be brought down
MLK who was an avid Socialist and saw it as the fundamental change America needed to make

I agree that the love it or leave it argument is lame.
You can love your country and want to change it for the better.
Trump himself has criticized America and called for change.
So the President is not allowed to have Free Speech? Has he created a policy to actually throw them out, or has he just expressed HIS OPINION? Which is it? Double standard much?

This took such courage that it is hard to imagine these days...

Well, there is much truth in that quote!
I've stolen that quote for my own in the form of "know when to get out"....in general the world would be a better place if our stars each shone for a limited period of time.
I've always looked at pols and "leaders" and thought "Why are they always of the last generation?"
No doubt that there can be some wisdom in a limited amount of older good people. But, in general, they should get out of the way and allow those who are going to have to live with the future to plan it.
Notice "they" don't tell Anarchists (like those here) nor "libertarians" who don't believe in the USA to get out. The Kochs champion debt, open borders and more pollution...as well as libertarian ideals (the buying of government, etc.).
I don't see a movement of "conservatives" against them.....must be missing something?
