BERKELEY, Calif. - Berkeley City Council has unanimously voted to eliminate gender-specific words from its municipal code.

The vote was on Tuesday and the idea was introduced by 23-year-old city council member Rigel Robinson.

"Language has power. The words we use are important," Robinson said. "It's not only timely, but necessary to make sure that our laws really speak for everyone."

Some of the changes include the word, "manhole" that will now be "maintenance hole."
California is too loony for the loony tunes.

Hey, if women want to crawl into sewage pipes, why not let them?

This is how one faction of the statist coin secures funding for the agenda. And that agenda is armed robbery. Taxpayers will now have to foot whatever cost is due to make such changes. Once you pay the taxes, my friends, they are sucked into a black hole.

Oh, excuse me. Black holes are racist. I meant a region of space having a gravitational field so intense that no matter or radiation can escape.

In instances like this, man has always meant all of humanity. Not sure when that changed.

Hmmmm....I wonder if Chicago is going to force the bar named that to change it's name?

I'd link to their website but it's NSFW.

Sounds like a good description. Man hole sounds.....well......

Having better and more accurate language to describe things is a positive move.
