Actually when people leave the White House their approval rating skyrockets.
Look at Bush's approval rating in the last few years of his Presidency, and compare it to his approval rating in recent years.
When you leave the White House, you become harmless and therefore nobody cares about you enough to hate you.
In Michelle Obama's case, she was liked while in the White House anyway, so there was never a chance of her having a low approval rating in retirement.
But really, who has a low approval rating in retirement?

She was a fabulous First Lady - much more involved than the current one. I would venture to say Michelle cares much more about this country than Melania who can barely get her "Be Best' program off the ground.

I like Barbara. Many criticized her for choosing the "woman's path". But AFAIC that is what equality is about. Choice.

now now, she managed to ruin the school lunch program for millions of students.

The National School Lunch Program saw a sharp decline in participation once the healthy standards went into effect during the 2012-2013 school year. A total of 1,086,000 students stopped buying school lunch, after participation had increased steadily for nearly a decade.

Not as tragic as her husband's demolition of our healthcare system, but she did her best to ruin the lunch program.

I liked the fist-bump she and Barry did after winning. Then she took every opportunity to ***** about America.
What a woman!

I have no problem with her, but I have no clue as to why she'd receive this absurd distinction. I'd admire a woman that cured cancer. this is a politician's wife.

She got everything handed to her on the victim card and then said the first time she was ever proud of her country was when her husband won the Presidency. So she didn’t admire us much nor was she thankful for anything. She’s an idiot I’m my book.

Same reason Barack won a peace prize for nothing. And then proceeded to kill more people with our military since LBJ.

These are the same people who admired Hillary enough to vote for her to be President.

And Hillary was probably the worst First Lady we've had in our lifetime.

Their opinions mean zilch.
