Confirmed: Ilhan Omar DID marry her brother to cheat immigration system as White House petition demands investigation into her “loyalty” to the U.S.
Both Ilhan Omar’s 2009 marriage documents and her 2017 divorce proceedings state that Ahmed Nur Said Elmi was born on April 4, 1985.
After an extensive background search, they have not been able to find any other person named “Ahmed Nur Said Elmi,” “Ahmed N. Elmi,” or even “Ahmed Elmi” with the birthdate April 4, 1985. The man Ilhan Omar married and the 17- to 18-year-old who attended Arlington Senior High School in St. Paul, MN, in 2002-2003 are one and the same.
Titled, “Conduct an Immediate Congressional Investigation Into Ilhan Omar,” the petition asks Congress and POTUS Trump to determine if she should be expelled from the House.
“Rep. Omar’s oath of loyalty to the United States is in serious doubt,” the petition states. “Omar made light of the September 11 terror attack by referring to the atrocity as ‘some people did something.’”
The petition also notes she has been videoed laughing about and “making light” of Muslim extremist terrorism and the threat posed to the United States by al Qaeda.

It is incredibly hard to actually prove, but there more than enough evidence piling up that she probably did something pretty shady. Either her biological brother or somebody who grew up in the same household was married to her, apparently to cheat the immigration system. Even if they are completely unrelated, it looks like Omar was up to something illegal or dishonest at the least.
I leave it to others to investigate and actually prove it. Bigger point: Anyone claiming this is a debunked myth or a conspiracy theory doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. It is at least quite plausible based on what we currently know.
Again -- she and her siblings were all given refugee status.
AND as a sibling she would not have had to marry her brother to sponsor him for a green card.
AND as someone whose son married a young lady who was not a US citizen, in the US on a student visa....the process for sponsoring a spoue for a green card is not as simple as just marrying them.
My daughter in law had to submit 'proof' of their long lasting relationship, letters, affidavits, etc. confirming that she and my son were married for real reasons. Pictures, letters, interviews......
Why would they go through all that when all she or any of her other family members could sponsor her biological brother.
It helps if you make sense when you make wild accusations.
You mean the alt-right fake media. Remember they don't deal in facts.
No...The Minnesota Star-Tribune. The leftist hometown newspaper is investigating her. Please get your facts straight. It's getting so tedious correcting you people.
She wouldn't have had to marry her brother to get him a green card....she could sponsor him.
And all her siblings were given the same refugee status as she was.
So while there are some interesting timeline issues related with her first and second husbands, etc......the whole she did it for immigration makes no sense.
sponsoring a relative takes decades...…...marriage is almost instant

That makes no sense. US Immigration law gives equal priority to a sibling of a US citizen as they do to the spouse of a US citizen. If her brother wanted to immigrate to the US, all he has to do is say he is the brother of a US citizen and he is pretty much in. That's why this whole story is a bunch of right-wing BS to discredit her.
Her parents could sponsor their son........and it wouldn't take years.
When her family were given refugee status her biological brother would have been included in that group.
my wife is filipino. to petition her mother and father or siblings was on average 20 years. When I brought her here on a K-1 visa...……..she had a green card in a few months. When talking about immigration the LEGAL way.. that is instantaneous.
