I heard about that on the radio the other day and had to laugh. While it certainly does demonstrate the hypocrisy pretty much universally present among the liberal elitists ... what really makes me scratch my head is the level of stupidity there. I mean, seriously ... wouldn’t you think Bernie’s campaign manager would discuss with him the importance of image? Mr. Sanders, if our political position is to promote a federal min wage of $15, we need to make sure all our staff makes at least that much? Just seems like common sense to me, especially given that the money is coming from campaign donations, and not out of Bernie’s pocket. Bernie, we know you really don’t give a damn about the people working for you, but it’s important to at least look like you do.

Good whataboutism. He wasn't building them during the Cold War, when they were threatening to drop a nuke on us and little kids were practicing running to the bomb shelter. But Commie Sanders? He thought it was a great spot for his honeymoon.

He has repeatedly said that the federal minimum wage of $15 will be phased in over a number of years. Its just right wing radio that talks about $15 is going to be implemented overnight and destroy businesses across the land with no time to adapt.

True. It demonstrates a horrible lack of judgment. It reminds me of all these liberal nominees for president who talk a good game about helping the poor, and then their financial disclosure show that they gave a pittance. Biden was notorious for that, giving just $300 one year. Wouldn't you think that someone with presidential ambitions would at least be charitable if for no other reason than to hide his hypocrisy?

You would never vote for Sanders anyway, so why are you so upset? Even if Sanders does win, the super rich has enormous powers through Congress, the judiciary, the media they own and the economy, so there's no chance that the ultra rich will suffer under Sanders. So you can take it easy. At best we might see a public option for health care years down the line, after the medical industrial complex have spent billions to fight it, but even that is far from certain. By far the most likely result is that the disabled, the sick, the elderly and the poor will continue to suffer, tens of millions will be without health care, while Wall Street laugh all the way to the bank. There is no reason to worry about "communism", "healthcare for all" or whatever else you're afraid of.

Yet...

Sanders and his wife did travel to Yaroslavl, a city in the Soviet Union, AFTER their wedding in 1988. In the sense that the trip came after the couple were married, the trip was a honeymoon. The two have also referred to the trip that way, albeit sarcastically at times.

But it was an unusual honeymoon, to say the least. The trip’s primary purpose was diplomacy, not leisure, and included about 10 extra guests.

Nope. Sold that little cabin, and upgraded to a vacation home with 500 ft of shoreline on Lake Champlain. His “apartment” is actually a house on Capital Hill.

Bernie Sanders is the poorest man in the Senate and could have sold out to Wall Street like the rest of the corrupt ones a long time ago. Instead he advocates higher taxes on himself and fights non-stop to establish a proper public safety net for the 99%.
Well, I would argue that there is no such thing as a poor Millionaire, so the use of the term “poor” in this instance is probably a poor choice of words, no? Perhaps it would be more honest to say he doesn't have as many Millions as some of his more wealthy colleagues in the Senate?

Bernie is doing OK, let’s be honest. And, it could be purely coincidental, but as it stands currently, Bernie’s tax the rich plan starts with a baseline that’s just slightly above his personal income and net worth, so he’ll have to increase that by a Million or two before he is personally impacted.

Now, I don’t begrudge Bernie doing well financially ... but let’s be clear ... he’s made a six figure salary for decades, paid by the common folks taxes. And he’s picked up another Million or so on books touting his socialist agenda.

I haven’t checked, but it would be interesting to know how much money he receives from the Communist Party of America?

During the middle of the Cold War? Trump has properties all over the world, but doesn't worship Totalitarian Oppressive regimes like BERNIE DOES. That's what he wants here. He's a control freak, knows he is rich, and one of the ELITE, yet wants to bring misery to the general populace.

Might want to check my post out where it was AFTER his honeymoon and he was there to work.
