I would say the "resistance" to Trump is more responsible for any hate and division there is than Trump himself is. They refuse to accept that he won even after all this time. They're like children who refuse to accept they can't always have their way. Trump may poke them and trigger them but they allow themselves to be triggered. It's not understandable, it's childish.

^^^^^This. I was disappointed when Obama won, and more, and more disappointed over the eight years he was President by the thing he said and did like:

America needs Fundamental Transformation
You can keep your healthcare plan, period!
You can keep your Doctor, period!
Your healthcare costs will go down.
Shovel ready jobs.

These Policies, Actions, and Statements hurt me and the populace way more than a few off color Trump tweets or 20 year old statements. However, I never lashed out at Democrats nor vandalized their property over it.
