All service dogs should have to go through specific training and be required to get a license. I see too many people at Walmart and grocery stores with pets. Most of the dogs are so poorly trained that you know they are not service dogs. Some urinate on the floor in this stores.
I don't see why people want pets banned everywhere. My dog has never once peed/crapped in a store, doesn't bother other people, and quietly stays by my side.
If anything, everyone wants to stop and pet her, especially when I'm in a rush
No, a government agency does not need to be involved in licensing emotional support animals on public transportation. If you are against government ridiculous spending then you should not be in support of something like that. No damn animals out of crates on planes or trains period.

Great, your dog is the exception. We stayed at a hotel last weekend and waited for the elevator. Out walks a young lady with her small fluffy dog (didn’t recognize a breed) on a leash. We get into the elevator and see the wet spot in the corner — fluffy couldn’t wait. Unless they are trained, dogs will be dogs, and dogs mark their travels with urine. Not something I want to experience at grocery stores, restaurants, or hotels.
Emotional support dog is just a scam where people fly their dogs for free. I pay to fly my dog and she is in a carrier the whole time. Some a$$hole with a boxer sitting in front of me let their dog get under the seat and scare the crap out of my dog.
There was a guy in Florida who had an emotional support alligator. It was too funny.
