Now, I don't agree with racial profiling in any way, shape or form. I don't think anyone should be targeted for their race. That said, the way that racial profiling happens in this country rarely focuses on the category of people most likely to cause harm.
The way some of you go on about this woman and the so-called "Squad," you'd think she was making decisions that affected your daily lives rather than being nothing more than a Junior Rep in the House.
Why do these women evoke such outrage, anger, and hatred? If she doesn't represent you and your district, why do you care? Oh...that's right...elections are coming up and you need to make sure that when people think Democrat, they think about some caricature of an Anti-American, hijab-wearing Muslim who is anti-Semitic, hates America, wasn't born here, and wants to take away your freedom.

A damn good point. People love to take Rep. Omar's words out-of-context to shock people, but when you give those words some context and think about what she means, suddenly the story isn't so juicy anymore. She's simply stating a a fact. White people in America are most likely to be killed by other white people.

Statists has a list of mass shootings by race since 1982. It shows 62 out of 111 perpetrators were white. That is a lower percentage than the percentage of Americans who were white in that time frame.
