Greenland Was on Fire This Week Amid 'Unprecedented' Arctic Burn

If you just read the headline, it could throw off the equilibrium of the climate conscience crowd. However...

The fire lit up near Qeqqata Kommunia on Greenlandís western flank. It appears near a shelter on the Arctic Circle Trail and itís possible that hikers started the fire unintentionally or otherwise.

So can we not just jump to conclusions with this stuff?

A sampling of reports from all over the Arctic for June and July 2019 -

From the Siberian Arctic:

Arctic summer 2019: record-beating heat, dramatic ice loss and raging wildfires

Hell on fire! Raging bush inferno at Batagai Depression, giant gash in the tundra

From Alaskan Arctic:

Thanks to climate change, parts of the Arctic are on fire. Scientists are concerned

A heatwave has hit the most northerly inhabited spot on the planet

From Greenland:

A record ice melt event in mid-June

But other than that, it's just been the same old, same old.

The Flat Earth Society is alive and well. Too bad our planet isn't.
