Omar won her seat in last year's blue wave. She got 78% of the vote. Her Republican opponent got 22%. She represents an urban district; and I think she'll be around a while because THE DEMOCRAT is always the better choice.

It would of been better if you had linked the article. But, based on what you wrote I do not see anything untrue. Plus, I'm not sure how you can challenge her experience in America as an immigrant? Are you also an African immigrant? Anyway, don't see how she is trashing the USA??? Sorry.

Just in case if the NY Times deletes it, it's saved on Archive.today.
Opinion | Ilhan Omar: It Is Not Enough to Condemn Trump

I don't know if it might be the right thread to mention that article but I spotted this article in French about Ilhan Omar's father, you have to use Google translator to see it in English.

A 2018 interview with Al-Jazeera has
resurfaced from before Omar entered Congress in which she says that
Americans “should be more fearful of white men across our country” than
Muslims “because they are actually causing most of the deaths within
this country.”"

And just yesterday the FBI confirmed that most of its terrorism arrests were of white nationalists. So Rep. Omar was absolutely correct.

She is right .... way more white men are terrorist than Muslims

The DNC is the better choice if you want open borders, more taxes for the middle class and government deciding how you live your life.

Moderator cut: - isn't the only one who should feel insulted and be repulsed by the repeated vitriol this dame has hurled at the U.S., whose founding, she says, was based on racism, genocide, and slavery.

Instead of praising America, she trashes it while praising, of all places, Somalia. The only ones who agree with her, are those who loathe this country, too.

Hegira is upon us. This is only the beginning. Wake up, sheeple.

If it's OK for the president, it's certainly ok for a member of Congress.

The Op-Ed is behind a paywall. Has anyone found it in its complete form, elsewhere?

Sure- if you hate America, love radical Islam, hate Jews, love high taxes, are transgender, love open borders, and hate white males......................... then the dem party is perfect.

Don't change a thing.

We always knew that democrats harbored hatred for America and white males, but now they have become very open and overt about their sentiments. Pelosi tried to keep the genie in the bottle, but now their extreme views are front and center for the public to see.

Let's vote.
