You're absolutely right.

That's like a kid coming home with a report card an A-in Geometry and C's for all his other classes and telling his parents.....look Mom and Dad, I'm an "A-student"......

I changed the body of the message. I hope that meets with your approval.

Despite the rosy economic views, Trumpís overall job approval remains below 50 percent: 46 percent approve, while 51 percent disapprove.

Really telling that his behavior has negatively affected his favorability. Americans probably are embarrassed and don't enjoy seeing their President in pissing contest with freshmen House of Rep members. If he behaved himself he probably could get close to Obama and Clinton's overall ratings.

But really, doesn't matter, as the country's electoral system is likely going to re-elect him with or without Russia's help in 2020 as the low-IQ, Flyover state country bumpkins seem to like his racists, bullying tactics.

HISTORY!?
Carter?
Nixon?
Buchanan?
Pierce?

My point is merely that anyone can cherry pick a single poll. I believe the RCP average more than any single poll. Trump is up a few points toward the top of his normal range.

Thread title is still a lie, but the body of the message is a little better

I call BS on this being the highest favorability since 2001- Bush had some pretty favorable polls coming out between 2001 and 2003. Obama also had his moments. 42% approval and 52% on the economy are not that spectacular.

The thread title is inaccurate and misleading.

The Fox poll cited has Trumpís overall approval at 46%.

His approval on the issue of the economy is 52%.
