The truth is there is nothing we can do about climate change. Cutting back a bit here and there is going to do absolutely nothing. It would take at a minimum, a complete shutdown of modern technology all over the planet. We would essentially have to go back to living as we did before the industrial revolution, and that is not going to happen.

Wait! I was beat over the head multiple times that the freakin Paris climate accords were the only way to save the planet...then why the hell is Paris burning? huh libs?

Looks like Trump knew it from the total scam we all suspected it was. Thanks mr President!

108 F in Paris. Absolutely unheard of. Manmade climate change is no longer an abstract concept, it is here, it is now, and it's causing tremendous property damage, lost crops and deaths worldwide with increasing frequency.
What climate model predicted Saharan air moving to Europe in summer of 2019 as a result of low pressure system? None.... Global warming fanatics... Pft

As with 99% of posts here, it is an opinion, yes. That is what we do here, isn't it? Give our opinions on issues?

When I served, we called the folks that forecasted the weather, weather guessers. They were wrong at least as often as they were right.

In 2018 I retired and on the day of my retirement it was forecast that we would have 6 to 9 inches of snow. I don't know that a single flake fell that day.

Where I live now I watch the weather and the daily calls for rain. The day before yesterday they called for rain between 11 am until 6 pm. Not a drop. They do cover their butts well though. They always qualify it with a percentage. 11- 40% 12- 60% 1-60% 2- 50%, etc.

How do I trust these so called experts to guess what the climate will be 50 years from now when they can't get it right an hour in advance?

I rely on NOAA, NASA and the IPCC, that is not opinion. So where do you get your information other than opinion.

Will you reccomend raising taxes on the Europeans? What dogma do you endorse?

We are building on coastal Louisiana and are using our wealth and power on a daily basis!

IPCC > "In climate research and modelling, we should recognize that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible. The most we can expect to achieve is the prediction of the probability distribution of the system's future possible states by the generation of ensembles of model solutions."
