Honestly, who cares? If these guys feel left out because they don't have a parade--let 'em. All their families can go and celebrate being heterosexual. It makes me laugh out loud just to read that.

It isn't going to make anyone uncomfortable except guys like Tennessee Rep. Bill Sanderson who pretends to not like the gay community, while hitting on them. Those guys are the ones who will be avoiding the parades.

"...Since he took office in 2011, Tennessee state Rep. Bill Sanderson (R-Kenton) has voted repeatedly in favor of legislation designed to harm the LGBT community. During that same time period, the 59-year-old Sanderson has also been openly soliciting sex with much younger men on Grindr, a gay hook-up and dating app, both from his home in West Tennessee and in Nashville..."

It doesn't say that it is a natural right.

Either way, there is an interesting article on the origins (Persians, Greeks etc.) of natural rights on Wiki:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natura...rights#Ancient

Seems that another term for it is inalienable right. But that does not mean they are not granted. They are granted and can't be taken away, unless the person violates laws. For instance freedom is an inalienable right, but it can be taken away under certain legal conditions, obviously.

Whats that have to do with anything? It falls under the 1st amendment freedom of speech, freedom of assembly. Whether you agree with them or not they have the right to march and should be granted a permit to do so.

It is understandable the gays would want to remember a terrible event such as the stonewall incident, but why in the hell do they have to march in the streets wearing jockstraps, and speedo's?
Why can't they march like most people when having a parade?

I am gay, and only attended one gay pride parade(the first one in Los Angeles), and only stayed five minutes, when these near naked fools were marching down Hollywood blvd.
I felt that was disgusting, and I still feel that way today.
We all have family jewels, but why does the gay community feel it is necessary to show the world what they have?

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, and this coming from a gay person.

Bob.

Probably a symbolic gesture of letting go of shame, I suppose.

Were they wearing jockstraps or Speedos, or were they naked?

The police arrest as many as they can for public nudity.

Just like at Mardi Gras, when the women flash their breasts for beads. They do it, but cops will arrest them for it.

If a straight person opposes an LGBT person running an LGBT pride parade, the straight person might be seen as LGBT-phobic. So, if we reverse the situation, does that make the LGBT heterophobic?

I don't believe in anything called a "straight pride parade." if you need a parade to justify your existence, you're gay.
