Stop being a liberal and think for a moment!
There were multiple factors considered, not just violence. Healthcare was a large one. Among First World countries, the US ranks well below many in access.

We did let Jeffery Epstein off, our Judicial system proved it has no interest in prosecuting the connected and well heeled.
We let Harvey Weinstein take advantage of young women and teen for years, no one said anything.

If you have money and are connected. You can run a prostitution ring and human trafficking ring for 20+ years and no one will stop you. Not even the federal government. That is what the world learned last month with Epstein.

Based on this all women seeking asylum either need to stop in the far less dangerous Mexico or travel to Canada.
I'm sure the US doesn't want people who land in Canada first claiming asylum in the US do you? The two countries agreed by treaty that wherever an asylum seeker landed first is the country they must apply in.

As far as i am aware, this is the only such treaty in the world. It has worked for almost 20 years for the benefit of both nations.

Why don't you test https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/ to see how biassed it is?

Hey, I'll do it for you.

CNN
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/cnn/

Look at that! Left Biased.

Fox
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/fox-news/

Look at that! Right Biased

Would you disagree with these?

Let's check a few more:

Trump supporters think New York Times, Washington Post and NBC are left leaning, correct? Guess what? That's exactly what mediabiasfactcheck.com shows.

Care to think mediabiasfactcheck.com is biased? Or do facts matter to you?

Two things. Studies show that in some countries WOMEN say that physical abuse is acceptable.

https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsan...s-sometimes-ok

And in America, some demographics are higher in abusing women than others.

https://www.domesticshelters.org/res...estic-violence

Also, if you look at the above study you'll see women aren't the only ones enduring this abuse.

It's a problem that doesn't seem to be going away regardless of country.

I mean one of the contributing factors in this "unsafe" statement is that they are likely to die during pregnancy or childbirth due to obesity and diabetes. I mean 95% of that lies squarely on the head of the woman who has managed to become obese or have diabetes, it has nothing to do with our system of government, state of police, or crime rate. Very misleading.
