Ancient Civilizations
"The world as we know it today is built on the ruins of 10,000 years of advanced cultures. This collection will introduce you to some of the best-studied, including Greek, Roman, Mesopotamian, Mayan, Indus, and Egyptian."

Do you really think that in 100 years that the countries around the globe are not going to change? This whole earth is changing and she is growing very, very, old.
You are not answering my question.

Do you have problem if your neighbor are eating some dog bbq after they give their wives a good ass whopping for not washing the dishes on time?

It is their tradition and culture after all? Who are we to judge, right?

A Look at the History of Germany

"Many of you will be surprised to learn Germany did not become a nation until 1871. By that time, the United States was already 100 years old. The reasons are so complicated that only a thorough retelling of the story will make any sense."
it doesn't matter when Germany became a country; the only thing matters is that Germany is now a country.

Language, border, culture, there you have a country. Germany's culture should be honored and respected by anybody who want to be German. Really, not a foreign concept.

Are you going to do it?

No where am I reading that eating pork is being banned in Germany and people are free to choose other day care centers.

Just as you and I are free to choose how we live our lives and how we conduct ourselves in respect to those we love.

btw: eating dog is legal in the u.s. Just so you know. So the question is, how much do we allow the government of our countries to rule over our lives?

Is all up to us. Just as it is to Germany. Germany will try very hard, not to repeat their past, but the u.s. does not share that past, yet.
Please, let's keep it real. They can try even harder, many would always view Germany as "Nazi". This is simply a fact.

Their only responsibility is to make sure that they don't repeat the history. Repeating the history will cause another ass whopping by the world. They should always remember that.

What they shouldn't do is to apologize profusely, and overcompensate everybody.

Just as it is not a foreign concept if the German citizens vote to adopt, changes, as well.

Well, like I said, if Germans want this "ban pork products" new.. well.. "cultural change policy", then it is their choice. But it looks like decision to ban pork products at daycare centers in Germany causes uproar. So it looks like they did not vote to adopt, or change after all. lol

Why are they catering to Muslims all of a sudden ?
100,000 Jewish people vs 4 million Muslims in Germany.
Not exactly a fair comparison.

But I completely agree this ban on pork is ridiculous.
They could just not eat it.

Not a prominent German (or even European) philosophy until very recently.
