And thus, a contradiction has been exposed. Thank you for exposing someone's contradictory statements. On one hand, saying "you don't know what happened" and then "as long as they didn't do anything crazy". Let's call it what it is. Some people keep giving excuses to Till's killers. Emmett Till was murdered and there was no reason to do it. It was not justified, period. Anyone who feels differently is a horrible person, someone who is morally bankrupt, and has alot of evil inside of them.

Emmett Till's murder could be seen as an outgrowth of coddling Confederates. When left to one's own devices, neo-Confederate types were allowed to go rampant to commit all kinds of human rights abuses.

In this case, I think it's catching a 3rd wind or 4th. It caught a second wind during the Jim Crow era.

Besides you evidently don't even need to do anything wrong, just have some white person make a claim.
Let's call it what it is. Anyone who thinks Emmett Till deserved it is only thinking that way for one reason. The desire for Jim Crow to come back. Most persons who think Emmett Till "deserved" it are bigoted, racist people who wish that this stuff would happen more today. Said persons want Jim Crow to come back, and look at Emmett Till's death as "good riddance".

It’s all the proof you need to let you know some folks don’t view others as equals.
Stuff about Emmett Till is taught in school. I don't think ignorance is the issue. If the school those frat boys went to didn't teach that, then that is actually rather shocking. I don't think ignorance is the issue here. This was done out of stupidity and hatred. Lying to one's self isn't really ignorance. Said persons know better but don't want to know or do better.

With crap like this, we need to draw a line in the sand and say "you're either right or your wrong". This is a time when people need to pick sides.
