"Moscow police arrest up to 200 ahead of election protest
Protesters are demanding opposition candidates be allowed to run for city council"

Back in the olden days, our pols would speak out LOUD about such things...and the people here would be with them. Hopefully Mr. Tweet will use some bigly words to denounce this.

More likely he'll attempt to emulate it.

Have you got a better source than the discredited The Guardian?

They don't provide any proof and this is the same rag that told us that Trump was guilty of Russian Collusion, about meetings that didn't happen, and that Mueller would expose it all, for 2 years.

They are fodder for Trump haters, little more.

Simply put, quite simply none of our business.
I detest Russia, but not our problem. We need to clean up our own yard before we worry about our neighbor's.

Back in the olden days we would interfere with other countries' elections routinely including inside of Russia. If we don't want our election's interfered with by Russia, how about we stop interfering in their elections?

Bill Clinton bragged about changing the outcome of an election in Russia. Obama allegedly interfered inside of Russian elections too. Wilson invaded Russia to try and sway their revolution. They have every right to be just as mad at us for interference, perhaps more.

Sure. And getting Mitch McConnell to kill election cyber security bills is a good start.

Trump and McConnell sent the following message to Moscow: "Hey guys, thanks for the help in 2016. We're leaving the cyber door open for you guys to do it again in 2020."

Wait a minute I'm confused. IF Trump steps in to denounce this isn't he interfering in their election? Isn't that exactly what the Dems are warning that Russia did in 2016 and will do again in 2020?

The Democrats are such hypocrites. We can influence and sway another countries elections but if they try the same here in the states that is a huge problem.

I can't help but wonder if Hillary had won if we would have heard a peep about Russian collusion? Of course not.

Default It had Nothing to Do with the Election. They were Breaking the Law.

Yup. The Guardian left out these facts.
  • The Rally lacked the necessary permits as required by Moscow law. This was the 3rd time the same organizers held a rally like this.
  • Organizers were warned on July 14 not to do it again or there would be arrests.
  • Moscow police started arresting people at today's rally as they were previously warned.
This had nothing to do with the election as alleged by the OP. It had to do with violating Moscow city law. And they were warned more than 2 weeks ago not to do it again.

Almost 300 people detained for participation in Moscow’s unauthorized rally

(it amazes me that the leftists continue to believe the crooked MSM without thought or question)

Condemning election corruption is not interfering in their election. It's condemning election corruption.

This is not rocket science. Most people are capable of telling the difference.

But relax, Trump will never do that. He most likely admires the tactic of keeping your political opponents off the ballot. Sounds pretty much like the general M.O. of the GOP.
