Tweets including: “More than 4 jewish pigs killed in #Jerusalem today by the Palestinian bomb explode. #Israel #Gaza”

It took a firestorm from conservative Tweeters to raise enough outrage to force him into resigning. Is there any other group you could praise the deaths of and still get hired at a major news outlet?

If the guy that tweeted this was Jewish and said a similar thing about Muslims, chances are the story might go more viral.

.

CNN did not know about the tweets until they were pointed out . They weren't done while this guy was working at CNN.

He no longer works at CNN.

See -- it's okay for public outcry -- left or right -- to inform employers.

What are you outraged at? The fact that CNN did the right thing........

People often do the right thing, after they get caught doing the wrong thing.

It’s not that hard to google someone before hiring them.

In fact, they probably did, and hired him anyway.

We have a thread on this already. This thread needs to be merged with the other thread on this topic. Other than that. Thank goodness I don't have Twitter. Twitter is an echo-chamber mess.
