No, the OP is exactly right. Socialism destroys every time. USSR, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. The more socialism takes over here, the worse the country will get. Look what its done to many major cities. America is already going downhill because of socialism, and Dems want to add more.
Working people who pay taxes are already fleeing Ill., NY, Ca. And the Dems want to make the rest of the country more like those states.
That is correct- socialism/communism destroys every nation it touches.
That is why it is so puzzling as to how this political philosophy has had such staying power. A logical person would dump a political philosophy that has failed so many times................if........... the objective is to find a political system that benefits a nation.
If, on the other hand, you want to subjugate a nation, socialism/communism is an excellent choice. There will always be tyrants looking to rule over the masses. Today, we have the oligarchs supporting the dem party, much as feudal lords ruled over serfs in the middle ages.
Am I the only person on this planet that believes that politicians play a very minor role in one's life? Especially in the USA?
2 things the government does that effects our lives is taking money from us in the form of taxes and protecting our borders from invaders. As time goes on our government gets increasingly good at the former, but is really starting to drop the ball on the latter.

How do you see the story ending or even how the policies that all the dem candidates are proposing will be good for America? Do you even know? Do you even care? Aren't you in the least bit concerned as to what the future would be like for your grandkids if the dems got their way?

I see nothing wrong with Dems proposal of Medicare 4 All. Or do you sharply disagree with it because poor people absolutely must NOT be entitled to any FREE medical care, whatsoever.
