And I'm not sure why so many people want to hold Trump to these standards of decorum when many of his detractors don't meet them. This isn't necessarily about Elijah Cummings, but we see Trump go after critics publicly and we think he's the only person who says mean things about people. Democrats do plenty of trash-talking, publicly and privately, and people don't bat an eye.

I think Trump's point was more about the people who represent the city and those in power rather than the citizens, but there's also a grim truth to be said about that as well. You can't vote for every Democrat who makes pie-in-the-promises and shares your race and then when they don't actually fix anything, you get offended by the first person who's enough of a jerk to say it out loud.

It's the same with California. Los Angeles has an infestation of rats (which carry all sorts of third-world diseases like typhus) and San Francisco literally has a multi-million dollar problem with homeless people defecating in the street and on the sidewalk...and all their local and state governments care about are declaring themselves sanctuary cities, blocking Trump from building a wall, and making sure he has to release his tax returns for the next election.

I got Trump's point loud and clear. Your representatives are more concerned with using their political power to pin a bogus Russian-collusion conspiracy on me than they are on making your cities clean and safe.

Because not one of those detractors is the President, and some expect behavior from the POTUS that is at least slightly elevated above others.

Good grief, this is ridiculous. Him "punching in the nose" by insulting actual cities with voters in them is just pain rude. And stupid.

He's stupid.

He is a self-absorbed, stupid jackass.
... but he's playing you like a cheap fiddle... so there's that.

Thank you for your very biased opinon based on ZERO facts!
One of Trump's Professors at Wharton, the late William T. Kelley, told his close friend Frank DiPrima (they were friends for 47 years) that Trump was the dumbest student he ever had.

Hannity just played a clip of Cummings twenty years ago saying essentially the same thing that Trump did. He called Baltimore a 'drug infested city' of zombies. Yet Crooking Cummings has done nothing except fill his bank account.

Why are Democrats fanning the racism flames? Hillary Clinton lost Michigan by 10000 votes. It was the black voters.

Those "rat infested" homes in Baltimore are owned by Trumps Son In-law Jared Kushner:

With over 200 various violations, Kushner refused to address any of them until threatened by fines.

Typical landlord/investor behavior in Maryland. Some of the units highlighted are in Baltimore County not the city.

Baltimore County Code Enforcement.

Baltimore City Code Enforcement

https://dhcd.baltimorecity.gov/ce/housing-building-code

Overriding Maryland code.

https://www.dllr.state.md.us/labor/b...uildlive.shtml

Generally once a code violation has been issued the owner has from three weeks to six months to remediate the issue. Extensions can be requested and are typically granted (my personal record was a landlord who stretched proceedings out for seven (yes, 7) years).

That's just what the democrats do anytime they are called out for their corruption !!! It used to work but those days are over !!! The democrats haven't been able to accept it yet !!! They unfortunately have been educated to a higher level ignorance than ever before !! Trying to drag them into the 21st century is a challenge !!! The country's future is at stake so we can't give up on it !!!
