If he's using it to give information that impacts the nation? He uses it to announce policy, so how can he prevent citizens from it bc he gets butt hurt?

Please don't say that the information will be told via news outlets soon enough. The guy uses Twitter like a bulletin board so he shouldn't be allowed to restrict access and make people wait for the news outlets to report it.

The First Amendment only states that "Congress shall make no law...". It says nothing about private individuals or non-governmental groups censoring anything. Therefore, it's not the government's business as to which tweeter is banned, or even who Twitter bans.Twitter is a private company and Donald Trump is a "customer" of Twitter. They and Trump have the right to block whoever they want. Now your argument might have weight IF the federal government had a Twitter-like account specifically and exclusively for public interaction with their own government officials and that were what Trump was using. If and until that becomes the case, Twitter and Trump can rightfully block whomever they want.

I guess you could say that his Twitter account is open for all to read, and there's no guarantee of response if your account is blocked.

If he were to accept followers by invite only, I think that would be illegal.

But, since anyone can go read his tweets without a Twitter account, I guess it's not really a problem.

No, if you're blocked you can't read his tweets. You'd have to log out in order to see them.

Wow, how would someone overcome such a barrier without undue hardship?

LOL, wait for main stream media to spin it then report it as fact. No thanks.

Actually it was extended past that when Saraha Hucksabee said it was official comminque. I would suspect that a court would rule that blocking access to trumps twiiter account is illegal.

You can't hurt the President and get away with it. Not in the butt or anywhere.

You can earn three for the fantasy.

Two more for the ridicules butt hurt received.

The big prize is for begging people not to respond the way you want.

If someone is doing something that's legal and people don't like it they can push to change it. Earns one

Exactly, he's using it as an official information platform but still blocks many people.
