We need to make sure these people are moving directly into elite neighborhoods and setting up camp, instead of working-class neighborhoods. Things would suddenly change very quickly.

Exactly. Take a look at any of the 50 largest cities. Chances are:
1. The democrats run them.
2. The democrats have been in power for 50 years
3. The cities are in worse shape than they were 30 years ago (exception, NYC but that's because no-nonsense mayor Rudy Guiliani stopped the madness for a while)

There.... which leftist on here is going to be the first one to call me a racist?

This or it mean a way to win the debate from what I saw on that meme. https://imgur.com/kxmFkDi

We should keep those people out until we can regulate their entry into the job market. Then we should allow the ones in that we want in.
Wait a minute- I thought the problem was that all the illegals/Hispanics were taking all the good jobs? When did they become unemployable.

And there are plenty of European immigrants who settled in enclaves with others of the same background/native language. They might not have fully assimilated but their kids came close and their grandkids often have little ties to the grandparents' country of origin beyond family folklore. I can attest to that scenario in my own family.

I also think its funny people from the Southwest are whining about the lessening of whiteness. That area was always home to some level of Hispanics and used to be Native American. Gringos only took the lead for less than a century. Heck- both my parents were alive by the time it became an actual state after the turn of the last century.

We are clearly headed that way but it is not about the misuse of "socialism" that the GOP is tossing around today. It is about the wealth gap, the economic condition where millions live in abject poverty while a minuscule minority owns the overwhelming majority of wealth in the country. We see in South America and in instances in history the violent end to which this inevitably leads.

I fear the Democrats are driving America toward becoming another failed state like Venezuela and they don't care as long as they are in power. This transformation could happen in 10 years or 20 but we all know the Dems will blame Trump and point to his failure to secure the border while conveniently forgetting that they blocked his every attempt to do so.

There is nothing wrong with LEGAL immigration but what is going on at the border today is a bum rush of people that are taking advantage of a loophole in our laws and exploiting our gullible generosity.

Is it already having an inept leader interested only in himself that tipped you off?

Yep. Who does our unhinged, populist, authoritarian, demagogue of a "leader" remind us of?
