Ratcliffe has been in the house longer than Harris in the Senate. Yet Ratcliffe was accused of being unqualified for the job of ODNI, while Harris is claimed -by those same voices- to be qualified for President.
Ratcliffe was an Interim United Sates Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas for one year, Harris was the Attorney General of California for six years, and San Francisco District Attorney for seven years prior to that. To compare the two is mind boggling.

Also, reports surfaced that revealed Ratcliffe showed little interest/involvement in the Intelligence committee.

So that's another difference

LAO Harris is not being nominated to head the NIA, this should require a degree of experience in intelligence and a bipartisan nominee, Ratcliffe is neither. A Russian denier should not be allowed on an intelligence committee forget about head of the NIA but he has a future as a Fox News host.

Trump has demonstrated there's no place for intelligence in his administration, he'd rather listen to Vlad's denials and go along with whatever he says.
