Well Trump makes it sound like it was Trump's decision not to put Ratcliffe through the vetting process.....Why wouldn't Trump just say that Ratcliffe is such a great guy his constituents were disappoitned.
BECAUSE THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED.
Trump needs to take more time thinking about his choices, making sure they understand the process.
President Nitwit just tweeted that Mr. Ratcliffe has withdrawn his name from consideration.
Ironic isn't it?
You call him President Nitwit but if you watched the debates this week he's still 3 times better than every candidate that's running on the Dem platform.
Doesn't say much for our selection of people choosing to go into politics.
It's a dirty nasty business, no wonder Ratcliffe is staying as a TX Rep.
Who does the Deep State want instead? I wonder if Ratcliffe's family received death threats.
Presumably somebody with actual Intelligence experience, and somebody who is going to feed Trump the hard, cold facts rather than a bunch of butt-licking complements.
Sensible choice in the end. That confirmation hearing could have turned ugly.
Why didn't the brainiacs in DC figure that out before this guy was even chosen.
This isn't just about Trump because he's not alone in making these decisions and I suspect with his limited experience in Washington DC he is relying heavily on his staff for suggestions. They should vet before they make a recommendation to the President.
this is my issue -- Trump doesn't have the experience and knowledge and he doesn't have staff that are giving him good information. It's a mess.
