Don't worry. The liberals will show up any time now, telling us that if they just have a few MORE laws, then they will work as intended.

Not a hard prediction to make - they've been telling us the same thing every year, after every mass shooting, for decades now.

They are. California ranks #7 for the lowest firearm mortality rates in the country. The states with the highest rates are Louisiana, Montana, Alabama and Alaska. Hawaii ranks #1 for the lowest firearm death rate. Source: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/s...ty/firearm.htm

What a shame we have such gun-free zones like that.

Why don't you drive on by Gilroy, CA and tell them how well their gun laws are working?

Let us know what they say.

I'm sure they are scouring conservative sites and groups while salivating over the idea there will be a connection.

Ditto.

Is this something government can do anything about?

They've been trying things like gun restrictions, waiting periods, magazine restrictions, "gun free" zones etc. Laws that obviously only the law-abiding will obey, and criminals will ignore. And the result is heartbreakingly obvious, especially today: Three more dead, a dozen or more injured in yet another mass shooting.

Perhaps it's time we tried something else?

But what, exactly?
