There is a problem. A serious problem. It needs fixing. Period.
State, Fed, and Local gun control laws of which there are 22,000 already on the books are clear INFRINGEMENTS of the Second Amendment. Most of them need to be stuck down by the courts.

Sell guns with scanned gun licenses and a database that tracks all the guns and bullets they buy.
A percentage of gun shops sell guns illegally, we can eliminate that.
Gun show loopholes pass guns around black market.
Theres plenty of guns in the country, we can reduce the amount of guns manufactured.
Get the ATF back up to speed so they can actually enforce the laws, and find offenders.
Use the same enforcement for guns that they do for black people, then the non registered and black market guns can get cleaned up quickly.
You do all that, law abiding gun owners dont have to worry, and non gun owners dont have worry.
Once we get some kind of mental health care in this country we might actually be able to find the wackos before they commit these shootings.
Lol.

Basically, you want it harder for law abiding citizens to get guns. This won't affect criminals.

That is the whole point. More laws make for more crime,
and that makes for bigger government and more intrusion
into our lives. The true leftists celebrate every one of
these mass shootings.

California does not have restrictive guns law. California and the rest of the US has nothing but crepe paper feel good laws. UK is restrictive, Australia and New Zealand now is restrictive. China too along with most of the world that does not see this level of gun violence. We know what is truly needed but are not willing to go there (yet).

Crime rises and quality of life suffers.

So this scenario was caused by non-English speaking coming to the area? How so?

Uh, police reportedly responded in something like 60 seconds. That would certainly indicate they were already present at the festival.

Thatís because we live in reality. Getting rid of guns in a country with more guns than people and a large black market is impossible.

Look at where all the gun violence occurs- all in areas with very restrictive gun laws!

Note: criminals and lunatics don't obey the law.
Therefore, your premise is to make firearms easily available to these criminals and lunatics.

We have met the enemy, and they are us so we provide them with lethal weapons.
